When You Get Lost In A Mission

"Argh! I can't believe this would happened to me! Being lost and all that..."

I sighed to myself walking around the woods with big trees surrounding me and I wasn't sure if I'm scared or what not because who knows, a titan might be near in this area trying to hunt me as their prey. You see, I got lost. Really lost. Today is our expedition and we spend our most of our time riding horses, killing titans, tried not to watch our men get eaten by titans in horror and rescuing other soldiers who are wounded or badly wounded. Expeditions these days. 

How did I get lost? Well, let's just say I lost control of my horse and ran all the way to the other side.

It started when I was slaying titans with Eren and Jean. I guess you could say the three of us are like a team though when I'm not around Eren and Jean might start arguing somehow. Anyway, while I was so busy killing titans, I started to grow tired and decided I should ride my horse. But when I mounted my trusty horse and it started trotting, we accidently saw a titan, wait, scratch that, make that three 4-meter titans that are approaching as at bay and they're targeting me. I gasped and just when I was about to take control, my horse started losing control like last time and started running into a different direction. I tried to unmount but I failed. I can't seem to control my horse anymore. 

When my horse was still trotting with speed, it we ended up stopping in a spot where there are a bunch of giant trees and my horse was shaking like crazy then it ended up lose my balance and fell on the ground with a thud. I groaned and fixed my 3DMG around my waist and my Survey Corp cloak but then just when I was about to calm my horse down, it trotted away leaving me here in the wilderness. I tried to catch it but despite the speed of my horse, it's already gone.

I sighed deeply knowing where my horse had gone to but I guess it doesn't matter now. I'm all alone here with this big trees and I can't seem to use my 3DMG because it's almost out of gas but I tried to save it for emergency if ever a titan might appear or two. When I take a few more steps, I felt water dripping over me and suddenly it started to continue. It wasn't just any water which is what I thought but when I look up, the sky was dark and clouds started to form then rain started pouring all over the place including me. From head to toe, I'm starting to feel drenched from the rain and I covered myself immediately. I clicked my tongue and made a run for it. 

This isn't good at all. I got lost in the middle of nowhere and now the weather is making my day even worse. I tried to check my surroundings so I can find shelter. I sighed and tried not to panic because there might be a titan in this area so I have to be extra careful. After running a few miles to the east, I saw a cave and it seemed empty and big. I guess don't have much of a choice. I need to make myself warm and avoid catching a cold. I gulped and ran towards the cave in the distance. 

When I approached it, I got inside quickly and so far, good thing there aren't any titans in the cave or the area at all. Though it's still kinda scary. It's quiet and the only sound I can hear is the rain. I sat down and groaned in pain. I checked my leg and it looks like it's bleeding a bit. I sighed and got a handkerchief out of my pocket and wrapped it around my leg. Now that's out of the way, I lay down and hoping no titan will find me here. 

'I wonder what everyone is doing right now. I hope they will find me soon...'

I slept soundly for the next few hours and so far no sigh of titans were close by. I guess they thought I was a corpse or maybe they just didn't know I'm inside the cave. I shifted and suddenly I heard footsteps coming this way. I opened my eyes slowly and naturally got up from the ground yawning softly. I turned to see none other than Levi and his expression was in shock but it turned to a relieved one. My eyes widened and Levi ran towards me then he gave me a big hug.

"(Y/N)! Thank goodness, I found you, cadet. I thought I....I thought I lost you. If I couldn't find you, I would have...agh!", said Levi and hugged me tight. I felt tears coming down my eyes as I hugged him back then he noticed my wound on my leg. He gasped and checked it but it turned out my wound was completely healed which he sighed in relief. "And good thing you weren't injured that bad. Tch, you got me really worried. All the cadets, Hanji and Erwin were looking for you and I'm glad you weren't dead", said Levi as he kissed my lips passionately. I smiled and kissed back when I wrapped my arms around his neck. He stroked my hair with his hand and eventually I felt very warm when I'm close with Levi. He let go and gazed at me with his bluish gray eyes saying, "Let's go. I have my own horse there so that you can ride with me. And once we were back in HQ, I have to warm you up. You're drenched from the rain after all and I can't let you catch a cold, you know?". I blushed thinking about it as he patted my head while he smiled naturally and kissed me once more then both of us left the cave and go back with the others are.
