Levi Boyfriend / Husband Scenarios (Levi X Reader)

When You Cheer Him Up

(A/N: This is requested by GabrielleLindsay9. I tried my best on writing this one and I hope you guys enjoy this next scenario that I worked on and happy reading! :D)

It was a dark and stormy night. Rain was pouring down harder than I imagined. According to some people I've heard from town, they mentioned that a storm is coming today and all of us prepared no matter what on how strong this weather is. Since it's the day of our expedition, we decided to prepare a lot of flare guns just to be sure but Commander Erwin said that it not might be useful in a situation such as this but it's worth a try and did mentioned that he did this sort of thing a few years ago. 

Then, when our expedition ended, we returned back to HQ safely yet some cadets died (about 5-9 soldiers) which is really leaving us devastated. Some were crying and mourning over the dead bodies that we brought in and some were feeling so sorry yet angry that the titans attacked them and probably get revenge soon. I bid them farewell and went inside the building with Eren and Mikasa. Sighing, when I got inside, I saw Levi talking to Commander Erwin about something but his expression wasn't normal for some reason because I could see sadness in his eyes which is really bothering me. I feel like I have to something about it but I hope I could find out what's wrong with him. 

Commander Erwin and Levi finally finished talking when I was about to approach him naturally but he already saw my presence. I gasped slightly and chuckled saying, "Hehe, hey, Levi". Levi's expression was still the same from Erwin's conversation but he approached me and gave me a kiss on the forehead but a small one. The kiss was odd but there's no turning back now, I have to ask him what's wrong with him. I get the feeling there's something ticking him off or maybe something on his mind that he might not tell me or what not. I looked up to see his handsome face and said, "Levi. Can I talk to you for a moment? But not here!". He tilted his head with curiosity but he accepted my offer and both of us head towards his office holding hands.

Once we arrived, I closed the door behind me and Levi was still silent and never said a word along the way. I brought him over towards the couch and sat down at the same time. "Alright, Levi. Umm, can you tell me what's wrong with you?", I said. Levi's expression hasn't changed a bit but he listened when you continued. "You look rather upset ever since we got here, is something bothering you?", I said with a hint of concern, "You can tell me anything, I'm all ears and I'm kinda worried, you know what I'm saying?". Levi looked away and his expression fell. I cupped his face which is something I never done ever so often and said gently, "Please, Levi. Look at me". Upon Levi hearing my voice, he finally noticed me and I met his bluish gray eyes. 

"Come on, I don't want to see you so upset, heichou, and besides I'm your girlfriend. Please~", I begged and started to feel worried slowly. Levi's breathing was normal and his lips didn't move on the slightest but after I gave him a worried and gentle look on my face, he finally spoke, "Okay, you win, cadet. I guess I can't hide this any longer, huh?". I smiled at him and pecked his lips. With that notion, he told me about the expedition that we had just a while ago outside the walls and it reminded him of the day when he's old friends died which is almost like the same scenario despite the dark and rainy weather. He held me close when he told me the rest of his story and I can't help but squeeze him. 

"Oh, Levi. You're recalling the same nightmare, huh? I know it really hurts seeing the same scenario right in front of you with your very own eyes but don't worry about that, I mean it's  finished, right? Just don't let it get to you because it's gonna hurt you even more so...", I said but I wasn't sure if my words were right so I thought it over a bit. 

I caressed his cheek and at some point, I could almost see him cry when I looked through his eyes. Levi looked down and just laid his head on my shoulder with his breath under my skin then I could feel him nod. "You're right. I'm sorry, I just can't get it out of my head most of the time", said Levi and clicked his tongue, "Tch, I can't believe I'm still encountering the same nightmare again,". I sighed and brushed his black hair then I kissed his locks of hair that made him hum. "Hey, Levi, I have a favor to ask you", I asked gently and that made him look at me. "Uh, I know you don't...do this more often in front of others but...can you smile for me?", I suggested and waited for him to either accept it or decline it. He raised a brow and I just chuckled nervously like dork preparing for him to respond any moment now. 

It's getting a bit awkward so I decided to butt in, "Y-You know, nevermind! I just want to cheer you up by asking you to smile but I guess it's not a good idea, huh? I mean you might be the type of person who doesn't smile very often at situations like this-"

I stopped talking when his lips finally formed into a natural smile which is exactly I was looking forward to like my whole life or day. My heart started beating and I could've sworn I saw him chuckling gently. "I think that's already cheering me up. You know, seeing you, holding you in my arms, the way you amuse me most of the time and when you're always by my side. Isn't that more than enough, (Y/N)?", said Levi like it was pretty obvious. I pouted and mumbled something but this time, he cupped my face and whispered, "But seriously though, cadet. Thank you". He kissed my cheek and behind my ear that made me squeak and held him tight. "I think I'm feeling much better now and thanks to you, I know exactly what I'm going to do next", said Levi and suddenly he pushed me down on the sofa and planted kisses on my neck. I gasped and wrapped my arms around his neck while he's doing his thing and I think I'll be here all afternoon with him in the office but I hope nobody would interrupt us.
