When You And Him Celebrate Your Anniversary

"Bye, mom and dad!! See you soon!!"

I laughed as Levi and I waved them back as they entered my very own home excitedly since they couldn't wait to spend one week with their very own grandparents.

We planned this since yesterday because for some reason, the twins came out of nowhere in the middle of the night and started suggesting they wanted to have a mini-vacation back in my place. To be honest, I was quite alright with it actually and I'm sure they loved my parents so much with all their hearts.

At first, I was about to say next week because they wanted to go tomorrow but apparently, Levi accepted their suggestion immediately and both of the twins jumped for joy. With no choice at all, I decided to give in and let them pack their things (even if it's a bit late).

But one thing came to mind: why did they suggest this out of the blue?

Is something special gonna happen today? Or am I just missing something here that nobody even told me about?

Whatever is, I might as well find out while the day itself flows.

"Wow, this is sudden but I'm glad they could to spend time with their grandparents but why now though? Do you have any idea?"

I turned to Levi just to see if he could respond to my question but when I did, he only gazed at me and didn't gave a me an answer. At all. 

How intriguing.

But the next I knew, he grabbed my hand and walked away from my house and called for a horse carriage nearby.

"Um, Levi?", I asked again, "Are we going somewhe-"

But, I stopped talking when the carriage arrived and surely enough, I think it will be our way back at the headquarters.

Levi opened the door for me and thinking of saying something but couldn't, I went inside and took my seat while Levi did the same.

"Greetings, corporal and- Oh, you must be his wife! You look so pretty in person!", said the driver, who seems to be in his late 20's, as he looked at both of us then to me with a warm smile.

I politely waved at him with a smile but just when I was about to thank him, Levi wrapped an arm around my shoulder motioning me to scoot closer to him.

"Why yes, thank you for complimenting my wife but don't let your compliments get out of hand here", said Levi as he almost gave him a glare for a warning.

Oh boy, jelly Levi is back.

The driver laughed nervously and almost looked like he was intimidated or shivering from Levi's facial expression but actually he is when he started losing his cool.

"O-Oh, I'm s-so sorry!! It's not like I'm going to take the woman you love or anything!", he quickly replied and looked away with panicked, "I mean, it's been a while since I saw a pretty lady like her, you know? Aggh, I only hope that maybe someday I might find someone like that!"

Levi raised a brow and sighed with relief, "Tch. Good, but you know, let me give you a word of advice, young man. Women like her are hard to catch nowadays, you see. So, good luck with that but make sure that woman is the right one, alright?".

My mouth was opened when I looked at Levi and my eyes started to widen upon hearing his response.

Levi, my bad-ass, neat freak and strong husband, actually gave him love advice to this driver right after getting jealous from his compliments.

Weird, that's something I don't see everyday or from him. I mean, I never seen him give love advice to other people before. 

The driver finally looked at Levi, who is now wearing his usual stoic expression, and said, "Thank you, c-corporal!!".
