When He Talks To The Baby

"Heichou, I'm here!"

I entered Levi (or 'our') office that we shared for the past year and it never cease to amaze how much we spend time together in this room with loving gestures towards one another and warm conversations that both of us would like to share.

Levi turned around and saw me holding some paperwork that Hanji gave me when I was walking through the halls just a minute ago.

"Oh, hey, love. Just place them here. I'm sure those paperwork came from four eyes, right?", he replied as I approached with a few steps and gently placed the medium amount of paperwork so it would crash like a typhoon.

He quickly gave me kiss on the cheek and observed a few papers for a while from his table then eventually he let out a sigh that escaped his lips and motioned me to come closer to him.

I quickly obeyed with a dorky smile and wrapped my arms around his waist which made him smile. He did the same thing and decided to bring us towards the couch which made me wonder or question why.

"Eh, what about the paperwork? I thought-"

I was interrupted when he kissed my lips gently with his which almost made me weak in the knees and sometimes I get the feeling of being melted from Levi's kisses.

"The paperwork can wait", Levi mumbled as he continued kissing me, "I just want you all to myself for a while. I mean, you've been out in town with Ackerman and Lenz the whole day".

"Hehe, miss me already?", I teased as I giggled in response.

"Tch. Of course, and I can't seem to help myself. You know, I love you, right, (Y/N)?", replied Levi as he rubbed his nose against mine.

"Love you too, heichou", I said as we continued to sneak a few smooches and Levi began to rub my stomach with his fingertips just to soothe the baby inside my womb.

"Wow, just look at the size of your stomach. It's getting bigger bit by bit", he commented.

Now that he mentioned it, time seemed to pass by so quickly in a flash and sometimes I can't seem to tell how fast it is.

"Yeah, I wonder how our child is doing inside. I really can't wait what it looks like, maybe it will look like me", I said as I stroked my womb.

Levi just stroked my hair as he listened to me but then, suddenly he had an idea.

His face got closer to my stomach and gently caressed it with his palm saying, "What do you think, son/daughter? How would you look like, huh? Me or your mother?". 

My eyes widened as Levi started to talk to our very own child inside my stomach and it was a really rare sight coming from him. 

Man, I thought that I'll never see the day. Seeing this side of him makes me feel very happy inside and I can't help but smile like a dork.

"Hehe, I'm sure our child is still wondering about that too, Levi and also, don't you know that talking to the baby would make our bond us a family will be stronger. Man, just by saying that really is making me feel excited to see how he/she looks like. Right, son/daugther?", I said as I gently rubbed my belly with a bright smile.

Levi continued to soothe my belly and started planting kisses while replying, "Heh, same here and I'm sure our bad-ass son/daughter is happy to hear our voices right now and excited to see us really soon, love".

I just smiled at Levi's comment and eventually, both of us began to fall into a deep slumber a few minutes later after a small kissing session while both of our hands are intertwining and laying on top of my stomach.
