When The Baby Kicks

"I'm here, love. I even bought some tea so both of us could relax for a change"

I looked up to see Levi entering the bedroom while holding a box of black tea on hand and he gently closed the door with his foot.

"Oh, heichou! Welcome back! How's the meeting in the Capital with Erwin?", I said as I got out of the bed and welcomed him by kissing him on the lips.

"Tch, it was almost giving me a headache it would seem...", he grumbled as he placed down the box of black tea so he give me a warm hug.

I giggled and hugged back while he planted kisses over my hair and my forehead making my heart melt as usual.

"What about you? What were you doing lately while I was gone, hmm?", asked Levi as he took of his blazer or coat.

"Me? Well, I went shopping with Mikasa a few moments ago but it turned out the rain was able to come out before us and we ran all the way here as fast as we could although we got drenched when we finally arrived", I answered as I brushed my hair with a comb.

Levi just nodded at my reply and decided to wrap his arms around me while stroking my stomach gently with his finger tips.

"I wonder how our child is doing inside", he commented and gently placed kisses down my neck.

I blushed a little bit from his affection while replying, "I'm sure he/she is fine. I mean it's been five or six months apparently and now that I think about it, the doctor told me that something will happened".

"Hmm? Like what?", questioned Levi.

I was about to answer his question until I felt a strong bump and for some reason, it made both us gasp at the same time.

"What the? What was that just now? I felt a bump on your stomach", said Levi with surprise as he felt the bump on my womb.

"The baby...it's kicking! ", I said with amazement yet it was starting to make me wince in pain.

Levi was able to notice this and a few moments later, he decided to rub my stomach continuously just ease the pain away but then Levi's eyes widened when there's another bump or two.

"Tch, looks like we've got ourselves a fighter, love", said Levi as he got in front of my stomach and gently placed kisses which however is making me feel a little better.

"Yeah, just like you, humanity's strongest. Haha~", I teased as I giggled.

Levi clicked his tongue and looked away just to hide his blushing face yet he smiled thinking that maybe our child will be like him someday.
