"Wildstar, We have news!" Cloudfoot yowled, causing some cats in the crowd to murmur. Wildstar hopped up onto highrock. "Silence" she hissed. The camp fell silent. "What is it Cloudfoot?" Wildstar asked.
"He's back!" Cloudfoot yowled. The camp exploded in furious hisses and yowls. "Silence" Wildstar yowled, once more. "Now, Cloudfoot, What happened?" Wildstar asked. "I was showing Lionpaw, Four-stones, when we both got a terrible stench. It was him,Wildstar." Cloudfoot expalined.
"Who?" Lionpaw finally spoke up. The elders stared at Lionpaw. "He is back for Lionpaw" Iceheart hissed furiously. Lionpaw flinched at her tone. Mutters of agreement broke out. "Who?" Lionpaw asked yet again, but it fell on deaf ears, as gossip broke out over Fireclan.
"WHO?" Lionpaw yowled, causing the clan to fall silent for the third time that morning. Cloudfoot opened his mouth to answer only to be cut off by Morningsun's yowl. "My son is not ready to know about-" Morningsun was cut of by Wildstar. "Morningsun, enough! He is ready" Wildstar snapped.
"Who?" Lionpaw Asked again. "Lionpaw, have you ever wondered who your father was?" Cloudfoot asked. Lionpaw pondered for a moment before nodding his head. Morningsun was about to interject when Robinflight came to her side and shook her head, resulting in Morningsun shutting her mouth. "Your father was a powerful warrior, by the name of Sunstorm. He was one of Fireclan's bravest warriors" Wildstar explained
Lionpaw's eyes shone with excitement. "But" Wildstar began "that power went to his head. He began thinking that HE should be leader". Lionpaw's excitement fell. "Then what happened?" Lionpaw asked, a little disappointed in his father. "One night, he attempted to destroy, Wildstar" Cloudfoot explained causing Lionpaw to Gasp.
"But Cloudfoot caught him just in time!" Wildstar continued where Cloudfoot stopped. Cloudfoot chuckled sheepishly in response. "Sunstorm was banished from Fireclan, but he promised to come back for you, because he believed Fireclan was weak" Wildstar expalined. "But Fireclan isn't weak!" Lionpaw protested, causing Cloudfoot to chuckle.
"But now he is back" his mother cried "We have to protect Lionpaw!". Lionpaw's stomach dropped. "I don't wanna be protected!" Lionpaw blurted out. It was Wildstar's turn to chuckle. "Don't worry, Lionpaw, you won't" Cloudfoot announced "because I'm gonna teach you how to protect yourself!"
