"All cats going to the gathering, go wait by the gorse tunnel now" Wildstar called. With that, a group of cats huddled by the gorse tunnel. Lionpaw sat by himself, waiting for Wildstar's signal. He looked around the group of cats. Tigerblaze, Robinflight, Cloudfoot and Squirrelfang were going, and so was Iceheart, a clan elder.
A flash of grey snapped him out of his thoughts. Coalpaw . The grey tom gave Lionpaw a regretful look before padding up to Tigerblaze. Lionpaw sighed, feeling regretful himself. Maybe Coalpaw was right. Honeypaw hated him. "Have fun at the gathering" a familiar voice mumbled awkwardy. Lionpaw's gaze snapped up to meet Honeypaw's. "Uhh yeah.. thanks" Lionpaw mumbled, as he shifted awkwardy.
"Lets go!" Wildstar called, as the group began to follow her. Lionpaw gave Honeypaw one last glance before catching up to the group. "Lionpaw? Why aren't you with Coalpaw?" Iceheart asked. Lionpaw shrugged. Iceheart must have known he didn't want to talk about it because she changed the subject. "So tonight you will meet the other Clans, are you nervous?"Iceheart asked. "Yes, very nervous" Lionpaw muttered.
"Do not worry, young one" Iceheart reassured him. Lionpaw nodded. "Hey,Iceheart? Did you know my father?" Lionpaw blurted out the question that had been on his mind for days. Iceheart froze for a moment, before nodding. "Your father was a great tom, he was brave. However, he claimed he got a dream from Starclan, and believed he was as legendary as Firestar" Iceheart muttered. "Firestar?" Lionpaw echoed.
"Firestar was the first leader of Fireclan" Iceheart explained. Lionpaw gave her a confused glance. "Have you not heard the story of Firestar?" Lionpaw shook his head. "Come by the elders den tomorrow. I shall tell you the story" Iceheart sighed. Lionpaw nodded excitedly.
"Fireclan, wait for my signal" Wildstar called. Lionpaw watched his leader, waiting for the signal. At the base of the hill were Four, large grey Rocks. It was known as Four-Stones. The rocks stood in the centre of the clearing, where the leaders would sit.
"Iceclan and Earthclan are already here" Iceheart muttered. Lionpaw looked closely. He could see two cats sitting ontop of the rocks, looking down at the other cats. "The light brown tom is Owlstar, leader of Iceclan and the darker brown tom is Alderstar leader of Earthclan" Iceheart muttered. Lionpaw nodded. "Whose the leader of Cloudclan?" Lionpaw asked. "Sagestar" Iceheart answered simply.
"Fireclan, lets go" Wildstar called. With that, Fireclan made their way down the hill and into the gathering.
