Lionpaw sat at the edge of the gathering. Iceheart had gone off to meet the other elders, while Coalpaw wasn't even talking to him. He sat alone, waiting for the gathering to begin. He looked up at the leaders. Wildstar, Owlstar and Alderstar were talking quietly with eachother. However, Cloudclan were not here yet.

"H-hello" A quiet, unfamiliar voice stammered. Lionpaw's head snapped up and met green eyes. "Hey" He murmured, at what he thought was an Iceclan apprentice. "I'm Leafpaw and you are?" the she-cat asked, a little more confindent. "Lionpaw" he muttered. "That's a cool name! Are you from Fireclan?" she chirped.

"Yeah, and are you from Iceclan?" Lionpaw asked. Leafpaw nodded. "Why are you on your own?" Leafpaw asked, unaware of how awkward that question was. "I got into a fight with my friend " Lionpaw answered truthfully. There was no point in lying about it. "Oh, what happened?" Leafpaw asked. Lionpaw shook his head, signalling he didn't want to talk about it.

A loud yowl caused, the whole area to sink into silence. The two apprentices looked up to highrock, where Wildstar was patiently waiting. "Fireclan, shall go first" Owlstar's voice echoed through the clearing. "Thank you, Owlstar" Wildstar nodded, as she turned her attention back to the cats below.

"Fireclan is doing fine" Wildstar began. "We thank Starclan for the new addition in Fireclan, Sharpkit, born to Cinderfoot" She mewed. Lionpaw wondered why Wildstar hadn't warned the other clans about Sunclan. He was snapped out of his thoughts, as Wildstar continued her speech. "Leaf-bare is coming, and our warriors are working hard to collect enough prey to see us through" Wildstar finished.

"Thank you, Wildstar" Owlstar coughed as he took her place at the front. Owlstar began his speech, it was similar to Wildstar's, as were the other leaders. When the leaders had finished talking, Wildstar hopped down from four stones, and went towards Cloudfoot. Lionpaw turned to Leafpaw, who was still looking up at Four-Stones.

"The leaders are so cool!" Leafpaw chirped, her eyes shining brightly, in adoration. Lionpaw nodded in agreement. "Lionpaw, time to go" A familiar voice called. Lionpaw's gaze wondered over to his mentor, who was patiently waiting for him. "Bye" Leafpaw whispered. "Bye" Lionpaw whispered back, as he turned and raced to his mentor.
