Lionpaw looked around camp from the entrance of the apprentices den. It had been three days since Snowtuft's death, and Cloudfoot still hasn't taken him out on a training session. He knew that Cloudfoot was just upset that his sister had died, but life goes on.

Sighing, he got to his paws and went to look for his mentor. Cloudfoot was sitting next to Splash, looking quite depressed. His usual mischevious Blue eyes were now dull and lifeless, as if it was Cloudfoot who had died and not Snowtuft. Lionpaw sighed sadly. Cloudfoot was in no shape to train him today.

Disappointed, Lionpaw turned back to the apprentices den. "Hey Lionpaw" A familiar voice called. Lionpaw looked over his shoulder, his green gaze meeting Honeypaw's. "Yeah?" He muttered. "Whats wrong? You look.....defeated..." Honeypaw's head tipped to the side.

After three days, Honeypaw had accepted Snowtuft was dead and actually moved on. Why couldn't Cloudfoot? Lionpaw knew he was being rude, but he just couldn't help it. "Cloudfoot wont take me out training. He is still getting over Snowtuft" Lionpaw retorted. He didn't mean to sound rude, but he knew he did.

Honeypaw looked taken aback for a moment before nodding. "I could ask Bluefeather if you could come training with us?" Honeypaw suggested. Lionpaw's green eyes lit up. "R-really? That would be amazing" Lionpaw chirped. "Wait here" Honeypaw muttered, as she turned around and padded off to find Bluefeather.

Lionpaw sighed happily. Maybe he was finally gonna get some training done. But his excitement suddenly faded when he saw Coalpaw sitting by the fresh-kill pile, completely alone. Lionpaw felt a pang of guilt and sadness wash over him. He had to apologise to Coalpaw and soon.
