Lionpaw watched silently, as Sunclan made its way to the front of the gathering. Yowls of pure hated rose, as Sunstar leapt onto Highrock. "Good Evening" The malevolent tom chuckled. "Sunstorm?" Sagestar asked uncertainly. "Sunstar" The golden tom corrected.
"Sunstar, where is Earthclan?!" Wildstar demanded. "I'm afraid Earthclan wont be able to make it to the gathering" Sunstar frowned. "And Whynot?" Owlstar demanded, his claws unsheathing. "Well, as of now Earthclan are halfway up a tree by now. Chased them out this morning" Sunstar sighed carelessly, as he examined his claws.
"What do you want?!" Cloudfoot yowled from the crowd. "What do I want?" Sunstar laughed maniacally. "You all know what I want" The tom growled hatefully. Lionpaw could feel both Leafpaw and Honeypaw move closer to him. "I want my son" Sunstar declared. The forest fell silent, and Lionpaw's breath hitched.
"Where is he Wildstar? I know he is here!" Sunstar demanded. "How would you know?" Owlstar stood tall. "A little friend from Fireclan, told me" Sunstar smirked. "A traitor?!" Squirrelfang shrieked. Sunstar burst into laughter again before turning to Wildstar. "Now where Is he?"
Wildstar hesitated for a few moments before finally making a mental decision. "Lionpaw, Step forward" Wildstar ordered. Lionpaw got to his paws. "Lionpaw, what are you doing?" Honeypaw whispered. "Wildstar needs me" Lionpaw whispered for the first time all night. Honeypaw's eyes filled with worry before nodding.
"Lionpaw?" Wildstar demanded. Lionpaw took a deep breath before making his way up towards highrock. Cats made a small path for him, allowing him to pass. He had never been this close to the leaders before. Nervously, Lionpaw sat down infront of the leaders, gulping.
Wildstar stared at Lionpaw for a moment. "Say Hello to your father, Lionpaw" Wildstar muttered. Lionpaw looked up at the golden tom, who was obviously staring back. "Hello Lionpaw" Sunstar chuckled victoriously. Lionpaw gulped, as he stared into the menacing eyes of his father.
