Have you ever had a hug that's just so perfect you never wanted to leave? I hug where you felt safe and protected, and where you were and enveloped in care?

Yeah. It was this kind of hug.

Daryl cradled me close as I slowly calmed down. He gently whispered into the hair on the top of my head as he rocked in a slow, rhythmic way.
His arms were strong and warm and were full of protection. His grip was firm and loving. His voice was husky and soft and he smelled wonderful. Like cigarette smoke and fresh air. A sharp tang of alcohol pleasantly wreathed in with the warm, Daryl scent he had.

"It's okay." He whispered against my head, sending pleasant tingles through my body. "It's okay, sunshine. I ain't ever gonna let nobody touch you again. Nobody will even think 'bout hurtin' you again."

I sniffled and nodded into his warm chest, slowly calming down. My tears soon stopped flowing and I stopped shaking so bad. By the time I was done crying I was exhausted.

He cradled me against his chest, resting his gently on the top of my head. I yawned softly, exhausted. Like a little baby who had cried itself to sleep. I hugged back. He was warm and cozy, like a teddy bear.

He slowly stood up and then laid on the ground, cradling me close. It was still very early in the morning, but the canopy of needles kept this part of the woods dark. Soft birds chirped and he hummed softly in my ear, holding me tightly.

I didn't even try to fight it. I slowly began to fall asleep. "I love you... Teddy bear." I murmured, softly, falling asleep.

And I swear, I heard him say, "I love you too, sunshine."

Okay, okay, I know I said next week but I couldn't waiiitttt!!! *squee* here's the fluff! Love you all! Early update!
