Short, but intense.

My brain was screaming a thousand things at once.
Beth's a pyscho!
I got Judith!
Where's Daryl?
Wait, go back! Beth!
BETH WAS RIGHT THERE!
I almost died!
HELLO. BETH. B E T H.

Finally, rationality (that very loud voice) broke through and I spun on my heel, hugging Judith close. My instincts were telling me to run. I could have talked it out with the guy, he didn't have to die. I just wanted to run, but I fought the adrenaline and ran back into the building.

Beth was running out, smoke following eerily behind her. "Where's the group?!" She called to me.

"I don't know!" It was a fray. People running, screaming, sirens wailing, fire crackling, and smoke billowing everywhere. It was so loud I literally couldn't see. All my senses were burning, raw, and warped.

Beth latched her blood soaked hand onto my wrist and began to drag me toward safety- the woods. "They'll meet us there!"

Suddenly I remembered someone. I shoved Judith at Beth and wheeled around. "I gotta little boy!"

"Tommy?!" Her eyes widened in shock. "Oh, where is he?!"

"Get Judith safe, I'll be back!"

I ran back into the fray, trying to ignore the harsh attack on my senses. I finally saw Merle, and ran up to him. "Give me the boy! Cmon!" We began to run back toward the wood, the boy stumbling beside me.

I heard a terrible, high pitched whistling and turn around. I saw a flash of sunlight on metal, then I crumpled with a terrifying screech of pain. Blood splattered onto the ground, and everything went black.
