This chapter is gonna seem a lot like a certain episode... Okay, maybe not that much. but guys, we DO NOT HAVE INTERNET IN THE NEW HOUSE I MOVED TO.

There was blood. She could have talked to him, could have gotten the child safely, but he came up and- and-- she couldn't think about that. She just had to run.

I yelped and jerked, trying to cover my stomach up with my arms. I felt my face flush bright red, and I stared at Daryl, horrified. I expected to feel his gaze rake over me, or Craig's, or for Daryl to blush or something, but he didn't.

He pressed his lips together firmly and looked everywhere but at my bare skin. At the wall behind me, glaring at Merle's dad, in my eyes, his gaze assuring me everything was fine. I could've hugged him for his respect, and loved him so much more for it.

Craig glared at Daryl and he glared back. I tried to convince myself it was okay. It was just a scare tactic to make Daryl waver. He wasn't actually going to--

Two, burning hands rested on my side and my eyes widened. I tried to squash the panic welling up in my chest, and I saw Daryl's certainty flicker. I tried to take deep breaths, but they became faint pants of fear.

The hand slid down my body, leaving a trail of itchy heat. Craig's hands rested on my hips and I squirmed, shuddering. Breathing became impossible, and tears began to press against my eyes. Daryl took a step forward.

"I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine." I gasped out probably 50 times in 3 seconds. I wasn't. I wasn't fine at all, I was terrified, and Daryl could see that.

"Ya know I'll do it." Craig growled, his breath sending shivers racing down my spine. "Angel, ya know I'll do it, and I'll enjoy every minute of it." My dam broke and tears began to race down my cheeks.

Daryl began to gasp softly, his eyes wide with horror, shock, tears, and... fear. He trembled softly, his eyes taking the scene in, unable to look away. My chest hurt but fear was taking over, causing me to shake.

His hands moved toward my stomach. "Please!" Daryl gasped. Craig stopped, his hands pulling away and hovering above my jeans and skin. "Please, please stop!"

"Better... Not good enough though."

He took a couple steps forward and fell to his knees, shaking and gasping as tears streamed down his cheeks. "Oh god, don't hurt her! Please, please!"

Craig dropped his hands to his sides, grinning sickly. He grabbed me and threw me into the corner with my shirt as he sauntered over to Daryl, who was weeping. I sobbed as I pulled on my shirt desperately.

"Look at me, Daryl." He grabbed Daryl's face and made him look him in the face. "I will break ya. I will slowly break ya down until ye'r nothin'." He stood up straight and opened the door. "Merle! Take these two back!"

Merle came in and herded us back to the closet. My vision was blurred from tears. I needed a shower so bad. I was hot, and itchy, and just wanted to cry and cry. I curled up in the corner and sobbed into my knees as soon as I reached the closet.

Daryl came over to me as the door slammed. "(Y/n), (Y/n), I'm so sorry." He said softly, reaching out and touching my arms.  "It's gonna be oka--"

"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?!" I screeched, pushing him away. "How can you possibly say that?!" My throat hurt from screaming instantly.

Daryl held my face gently, making me look him in the eyes. "I say that because that's what you told me." He stroked my soaked cheek with his thumb. "And I believe you."

I threw my arms around his neck and sobbed into his chest.
