First of three updates tonight! The schedule has been a bit thrown off because we plan on watching the original Batman, Alien, and maybe Scorch Trails, so I'll update in between movies!
I slowly opened my eyes, groaning in pain. My muscles hurt and my hands were tied behind my back. I was lying against something warm and softly breathing. "Glenn?" I murmured slowly.
"You up?" He wheezed, sitting up a little.
"Yeah. I feel like I got ran over by a train..." I groaned and sat up. We were sitting in that same room I had been in. I only know because remnants of blood and chair splinters. "Great." I slumped. "So much for that brilliant plan."
"At least you tried." Glenn sighed. "More than I've done." Suddenly the door flung open and we both started.
Tom walked in, looking furious. "You traitor!!" He snarled, kicking Glenn in the face. He yelped in pain as blood trickled down the side of his head.
"Hey!!" I cried. "Yo, leave him alone!" I struggled to my feet.
"No." Tom grabbed my shirt collar and slammed me against the wall. I gasped in pain as the air swooshed out of my lungs. "You, girl, are getting on my last nerves. I've tried again and again to protect you from that pervert but I swear to god if you don't start being thankful I'll let him have you."
This made me go silent. I stopped struggling and went limp. "There." He growled, dropping me onto the floor. I sat up and crawled over to Glenn. He tried to comfort me by gently leaning against me and glaring at Tom.
"Now. I don't want to have to use force, and so you can help me. I want answers from that pathetic group of yours. You say that the redneck's a Dixon, and we've been bein' bothered by a Dixon for a while. I wanna know who this freak is and anything your group knows that'll be useful."
I lowered my head. "My group don't know nothin'. It's just us."
"Well, you're going to be my lap dog, got it? That, or I let Reggie have you." Glenn's eyes burned bright with fury at the mention of Reggie. "What do you say?"
I swallowed hard. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "I... Deal."
Tom smiled. "Wise decision."

The building was an old office building right off of a military base and airport. I took a dizzying tour before getting nice clothes and shown where I would sleep. Thank the lord the door had a lock. No matter what Tom said, I didn't trust Reggie.
"Hey." Tom said, leaning in the doorway after I had changed into a white blouse and pair of skinny jeans and combed my hair. I actually felt fresh and clean and I enjoyed the feeling. "I need you to talk to your boyfriend."
"He's not my boyfriend." The words flew out my mouth before I could catch them. "I-I m-mean yeah, he is- I just..." I stumbled.
Tom waved me off. "Habit. I get it. But I really need you to talk to Dixon."
"Daryl." I murmured, stepping cautiously. "His name is Daryl."
"Alright." Tom nodded. "I need you to talk to Daryl now, because I need to know everything I possibly can about whoever the heck is also with the last name Dixon, k?"
"Alright."
I figured this mysterious Dixon was Merle, considering he was the only one Daryl had left. I began to wonder just what the heck these people were doing, because they seemed to be doing a lot of nothing at all.
Tom led me down a dark flight of stairs and into a all but pitch black basement. He unlocked and opened a door, and I saw Daryl. I nearly sobbed out loud at the condition he was in, and the way he looked at me with so much happiness and surprise and hope ripped apart my heart.
Because I'd have to betray him to save him.
And he'd never forgive me for it.
