(Later that day, Stan's pov)

I went downstairs after breakfast to see my brother. He looked worried....I don't blame him. I was worried too.

"Stanley!" He exclaimed. "When did you get down here?"

"Just now." I said. "I wanna talk to you."

"About what?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Bill." I said. "I'm worried he's after Mabel. She's been so depressed lately. She's not herself."

Ford scratched his head. "I would think she'd be scarred, not depressed. I'm sure Bill did bad things to her. It wouldn't make any sense if she's sad about it."

"It doesn't make sense." I sighed. "Maybe there's something we don't know. Maybe something else happened in the dream realm."

"That could be..." Ford nodded. "But why would anything good happen in that horrible place?"

"Should we ask Mabel?" I asked.

"I'm not sure. We need answers to help us destroy Bill but at the same time she needs to heal." Ford frowned.

"Yeah that's true." I nodded in agreement.

"Give her a few days and then we'll talk." Ford said.

I nodded. "Sounds good."

(Mabel's pov)

I rushed to my room and slammed the door behind me. "Bill? Are you still there?"

Bill's voice didn't answer me.

"Bill?" I asked for him again. "Where did you go?"

Then, I heard a knock on the door.

I rolled my eyes. "Who is it?"

"Dipper..." I heard my brothers voice.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"To apologize..." Dipper sounded sad.

"Come in." I said.

Dipper opened the door and looked at me with sad eyes. "Mabel..."

I want to hear this.

"Even though I don't like the fact you're with Bill," he looked down, "I'm on your side. I'm with you no matter what. And I'm sorry for yelling at you before...I shouldn't have done that."

I smiled. "Thanks Dipper."

He looked up with a gentle smile.

"So you'll help me break this barrier?" I asked.

"I'll try." Dipper shrugged.

Then, I heard Bill's voice.

"Shooting Star!! Great news!!" He sounded thrilled.

"What is it!?" I jumped.

"I found a way to break the barrier!" He said.

"That's great!" I grinned.

"But there's a problem..." He said.

"What?" I froze.

"I found a spell that'll open the barrier but it'll only last a day..." Bill explained.

"A day??" I frowned.

"Yes...and I can only use the spell once..." Bill sounded sad.

"No..." I frowned.

"So it's your choice, Shooting Star. You can either live with me in the dream realm or you can stay with your family." Bill said.

"But what about the other demons?" I asked in fear.

"I've taken care of that...they'll never bother you. I promise." Bill sounded sincere.

"Ok..." I nodded.

"I'm opening the portal tomorrow. We can talk then, ok?" Bill said.

I nodded again. "Okay."

Bill's voice left, leaving me to stare at Dipper. "What do I do??"

Dipper came over to hug me. "It's your choice..."

I hugged my brother tightly for comfort...what am I going to do?
