You loved having Wonwoo as your best friend. There were many benefits to his presence such as getting free strawberry milk in the cafeteria or sinking underneath the covers in his fluffy sweaters. On bad hair days he would lend you his bucket hat and whenever you were upset his long arms always caged you in the perfect hug. Occasionally, you couldn't bring yourself to fall asleep so you would roll out of bed and toss on a jacket along with a pair of shoes and wobble out the door. Pulling out your phone you would send him a simple text and the next thing you knew loud cackles of laughter were escaping your mouthes from the night streets. Sometimes you would study at his place, your limbs sprawled out across the carpet while you propped a text book on front of your face.

As you asked him questions you would focus on the sound of his deep voice giving mostly the wrong answers until you fell asleep and the boy had to shift you into his bed. Today you were rushing to school, flinging out of your Dads car with a heavy backpack slung around your shoulder. You easily identified the bucket hat that belonged to the boy sitting on the steps, his friend mindlessly chatting away in his ear. Collapsing next to him you yanked out your notebook and dropped it in his lap with the page open to a list of questions. "Quiz me real quick." You asked sharply with clenched fists. Wonwoo scrunched his nose and glanced at the questions while Mingyu hovered by his shoulder. "You don't have to worry, sometimes over studying can make you forget."

"Yeah, yeah whatever. Just get on with the questions." But before he could open his mouth again the bell rang and he was shoving the notebook back into your bag. The three of you jumped to your feet and set off to class but you couldn't shake the worry that you hadn't studied enough. Lately your grades weren't the best which confused you because you most certainly payed attention in class. Grabbing a few things from your locker you took in a deep breath to calm the rising nerves. You felt a gentle hand grab your side and spin you around to be faced with Wonwoo who handed you some strawberry milk. "Drink this when you take the test and think of me. It will help you relax and pass with flying colours." Pushing some hair out of your eyes you gratefully excepted his gift. Quickly you engulfed him in a hug but you felt him pushing away.

"Gotta get to class." He mumbled before slipping away into the students trying to make their first period. Wonwoo never rejects your hugs because he's too much of a sucker for them. Usually the minute he feels your arms wrap around his torso he naturally squeezes you back until your thumping on his back for release. Shrugging it off you just make your first class and place the strawberry milk by the corner of your desk. At least the test was in the morning so your memory would still be fresh, your revision of the questions at the breakfast table still clear in your mind. Sharpening a fresh pencil and admiring the sharp tip you didn't even notice the teacher begin handing out the paper.

Wonwoo sat at the lunch table with a fist rested to his cheek. The cafeteria wasn't filled with too many students because most preferred to go out for lunch and those who stayed in the cafeteria were either studying or reading. Wonwoo was feeling rather down as he clicked away on the keys of his laptop. He eyed the food sitting next to him, having just microwaved it so it would be more appetizing. However it remained untouched along with the chopsticks sitting over the top. He released a sigh, his head throbbing lightly with a dull pain. Suddenly he heard the creak of the bench as you took place beside him with a piece of paper. Only last week had you completed your test and today your teacher gave it back to you.

"I did it, I actually did it Wonwoo! I got 97% on my test!" You pushed the paper towards him but he hardly glanced at it. His voice was rather flat as he muttered a congratulations and closed the lid on his laptop. The whole past week the boy had been acting quite strange, his usual heart fluttering smiles seemed forced and broken and you had rarely heard him laugh even the slightest bit. On a Friday night you asked him to go bowling with you and Mingyu but he quickly rejected saying he was being forced to spend a dinner with his neighbours. His attitude was getting rather snappy with a flash of anger in his dark orbs along with his fingers carving spaces into his skin. You had been cautious to ask what was bothering him incase it only fuelled a possible outburst but now you were quite concerned.
