I put my bass guitar back into the case and grabbed my maroon suitcase. I looked back at the room I only stayed in for like, what, three days? I brushed my red hair out of my eyes and walked out of the room.
I went down the stairs, to find my mom and my dad waiting for me.
"Let's go," Mom said.
I looked at my knee high black sneakers, then at my black band tank top. I sighed and followed them. We got in the car and drove to the portals. I grabbed the bass case and my suitcase. I smelled the clean air and looked behind, to see my mom and dad getting out their luggage.
When they finished, they stood on either side of me and looked at the portal, that I guess sensed their presence... I really don't get these things.
I went in after my Mom, then my dad went in after me.
The second I walked into the fire kingdom, the heat rushed on to me, and man, it felt good.
"You know, this is must be the reason I don't like cold," I told my parents.
My mom rolled her eyes, while my dad chuckled a little.
When we entered the castle, my dad asked the maids to take their stuff to their room.
"Alright Darling, your room is up those stairs and the third door to the right," he pointed to a wooden door.
I shrugged and walked to the door. I opened it to see a narrow staircase spiraling up to a single doorway, probably to the hall where my room is.
The sound of my sneakers on the stone stairs echoed around the room. As I reached the top, I saw a single window that illuminated the room.
I looked out of it and saw a stretch of lava, then a force field, showing off another kingdom, I couldn't tell which one it was, though.
I walked down the hall, and counted the doors at switched off. Left, then right, then my room was on the left.
The door creaked open to reveal a beautiful dark red room, a bed in the middle of the back wall, with a adorning bedpost, traced in gold. Behind it was a leather peice of artwork, also traced in gold.
I set down my suitcase and bass guitar case and went to the bathroom, which was black, with some silver and gold touches.
Next, I went to the closet. It was filled with dresses, which weren't my style so I just left that part alone.
"I like this place a bit better than the other house," I mumbled to myself.
