--Quinn's POV--
I looked at my old school, it was nice to see everything still the same, and that maybe Melody didn't ruin my life, well even more than my life is already ruined.
I walked past classrooms to get to my first period, where I will see all my other friends.
Then something jumped onto my back making me fall.
I screamed flipped over to see two people on top of me.
"Your crushing me!" I gasped, hitting one of their backs.
"Sorry, Carter pushed me!" I heard a familiar voice say.
"What? No I didn't! You pushed me but I went all cool and flipped you over, then you tripped!" Another voice said.
Soon I was able to breath and see Carter M. and Carter C. arguing.
"Guys! It's fine!" I hugged both of them.
"What happened to your hair, it was gray yesterday," Carter M. asked.
"Oh! Um, it was temporary hair dye, I wanted to freak out Everly!" I smiled.
"Well it worked, she ended up yelling at us for making you dye your hair!" Carter C. said and grinned.
"No she didn't!" Carter M. scowled and soon the two were arguing again.
"Are you deaf? Yeah, she did!"
"Hey guys, I got to go to class," I smiled lightly at them and ran to my first period.
When I entered, everyone looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and put my hand in my pocket, wrapping my hand around a bag full of dust.
"When you get their orbs, take this dust and throw it on the floor and it should take you back here. I have cast a spell on it to bring you back, safe and sound, it may make you sick, though because that's what happened the first time I used it."
Lucas handed me the dust as I left for school ok that morning.
Everyone got up and hugged me.
"Oh my gosh I was sure that her took you forever!" Everly squeezed me.
"Don't worry I'm fine, I escaped," I smiled at them.
"Wait, where is your orb?" Kamer pointed to my neck.
"Oh! When I was running from the kingdom, the chain broke and it shattered. I have a way to fix it! During lunch I just need your orbs to see what type of magic is in yours to see if I have a simple fix to get one the same!" I said, rolling on the balls of my feet.
"That made no sense at all, but ok," Cassidy said.
"Yay!" I clapped and sat down at my seat as the teacher walked in.
---------------------
Lunch soon came, and we all went to the lab.
Cassidy gave me her orb, and nodded at me. I smiled. One down, two to get.
Kamer gave me hers next, and whispered, "I hope this works," I smiled at her like, I hope. Two down, one to go.
Everly handed me hers, but held on as I grabbed it.
"Come on, Ever, I need this for it to work!" I pleaded.
"Quinn, if this fails and all of ours breaks, or if this is a trick and you are possessed, what would we do? You're our friend and I don't want anything bad to happen to you!" She frowned.
"Everything will be fine," I replied.
She sighed and gave it up.
"Alright, work your science-magic stuff!" Kamer waved her hands.
I laughed an evil laugh and smirked.
"You guys are gullible! My necklace is at the Dark Kingdom! I'm evil now! If I really escaped, why would I go back to wearing dresses and ruling a kingdom when I could ride dragons and be so bad-ass!" I laughed.
"Quinn! Give them back right now!" Cassidy approached me, setting her hands on fire.
"All the exits are now blocked, you can't escape!" Everly said as they ran towards the exits, Cassidy still approaching.
"Watch me!" Then I took out the dust and dumped it on the ground.
"What the hell?" Kamer said, looking at the dust.
Cassidy looked like she was going to laugh.
Everly whispered, "Is this a joke?"
Three. Two. One. I did an evil laugh then I went up in smoke, just like how Melody appeared, and in a second, I was standing in Lucas's office.
"Is the deed done?" He looked up from his book, Twenty Ways to Murder Easily, and smirked at me.
"No, I failed I'm sorry 'Master'," I said sarcastically, then showed him the orbs hanging.
"Perfect, now go kill the heir for me." Lucas threw my necklace at me and I put all the necklaces.
"I will, I won't let you fail and live in embarrassment because that would mean I am related to an embarrassment and I don't think I could live with that because then-"
"Just go!"
"Ok, ok. Lucas," I left the room as I felt a hard flat surface hit my back, I laughed.
It was Twenty Ways to Murder Easily.
Now since that's over, let's go kill that heir.
