||| Quinn's POV |||
I stared at the gates towering over me.
They glowed with a very light blue, with swirls and snowflakes all over the doors.
"Even after everything was destroyed, this remained in great quality? Great job destroying, Lucas," I rolled my eyes and opened the doors.
Light glowed around and I squinted, to find...
A destroyed city. What was I expecting?
I walked through the rubble of the city, tripping every once and a while.
I looked around every corner, till I saw the subtle outline of what looked to me a boy, he was short, and had muscle, probably from trying to live in this harsh environment, and he was skinny, like he hadn't eaten in awhile.
"Hey, kid!" I yelled at him from the other side of the dark ally.
He looked my way, then just his eyes glowed white, then he ran.
I ran after him, jumping over rocks, the only light I had were from the orbs around my neck.
I saw him about twenty feet ahead of me, I was gasping for breath... What? I don't run.
I crouched over, and yelled at him.
"I'll catch up to you later" and threw my arm in his direction lazily.
As I started walking around looking for him, I noticed it was quite cold.
"Of course, it's and Ice Kingdom, after all," I mumbled.
I continued stepping over the rubble of the abandoned kingdom searching for the boy.
I rubbed my arms and shivered, I always loved the warmer weather more so this was hard on me.
I soon spotted a figure sitting on the edge of a hill, softly talking to himself.
I quietly approached him, hearing his out of breath words.
"You did it Wilson, you out ran her, now she has no chance of killing you, you can go on living the same life you have for years now," he nodded to himself.
"Nope, not a chance," I said.
He jumped and looked at me, a pleading look in his eyes.
"Please, please don't hurt me," he was about to cry.
"Tell me one reason why I shouldn't, it's either this or I take you back to his castle and then you are his problem," I could feel that he knew exactly what I was talking about.
He then wiped his eyes from the pleading look and stared me right in the eye. "Fine, have it your way," he then moved his hands and a giant wall of ice appeared.
It move towards me quickly, approaching at a steady one meter per two seconds, that left me about twenty seconds.
I thought quickly and used Cassidy's power to create a dome of fire around me, it melted the iced and left a half circle shape in the wall that kept moving.
I swiftly threw at him powerful balls of fire, earth, water, and wind. He is agile, but not agile enough. I walked towards him, stepping over the remains of the kingdom and the ice shards.
One ball hit him, and he fell to the ground. I decided to make one last power attack, when someone tackled me.
It was Kamer.
I gave her a death stare and pushed her off, hitting her with attacks that got stronger and stronger everytime. She soon went limp. I looked up and saw Cassidy about to cry.
"You are a MONSTER!!" She screamed at me, he hit me with a stream of fire while I saw Melody run to get Wilson, while Everly grabbed Kamerblynn.
It hit me right in the arm, and I felt a stinging pain, I groaned out in pain but stayed standing, and formed a small tornado, and aimed it at her.
I heard Melody and Ever yell together, "RUN!"
That was the last I saw, Cassidy running away after her friends, and all I could do was fall to my knees while I bled and cringed at my burned arm.
