I awoke the next morning to the sound knocking on the door.
"Miss, it's is time to get up for school,"
"Crap, I forgot there is school in this world," I moaned, running my fingers through my red hair.
I got up, still in my pajamas, and went down to the main room, the throne room. There, my dad was waiting.
"Ah, you're up!" He clapped his hands and walked towards me.
He put a hand in my shoulder, "down that hall and the first door to the right there is the dining room, where your breakfast is waiting."
"Ok, thanks!" I smiled at him the walked down the hall.
As people rushed around and waved at me, I felt kind of under exposed, there in my long pajama pants and a dark gray crop top saying, "don't touch me", along with barefoot feet on cold tile with my hair loosely on my shoulders.
I opened the door to the dining room, to the smell of bacon. My favorite breakfast food. I rushed to the table and sat right in front of the bacon. It was a feast, eggs of all type, bacon, French toast, waffles, and pancakes. Not to mention hashbrowns. I grabbed some poached eggs, some sour bread toast, jelly, bacon, and hashbrowns.
I dug in and was done in ten minutes.
"Good morning, Cassid-" my mom got cut off when she saw me going in for seconds.
"Oh, hey mom," I looked at her with a mouth full of jellied toast.
"Um, I brought you some orange juice," she handed me a cup of orange liquid.
"Thanks," I chugged it down in seconds.
She sat down across the table from me and grabbed some scrambled eggs. "We need to work on your manners,"
I rolled my eyes and went back to grabbing more bacon, just to get my hand slapped away.
"Ow!" I held my hand, with a small pout in my lips.
"You need to get ready for school! Hurry!"
"Mom, what am I supposed to wear?"
"Well, not a puffy dress, that's for sure. It's Elemental school, not Princess school, however you should go there for your manners are extremely un-lady like..."
She babbled on so I just left her to talk about my flaws.
Once in my room I took a shower. Afterwards, I wrapped myself in a towel and went to my huge closet. I grabbed a red shirt, black ripped skinny jeans, and a maroon leather jacket with black ankle boots.
I went back to the bathroom after I got dressed and noticed I had a lot of jewelry, and they weren't even that fancy. I brushed my hair and put it in a high pony tail, with some strands hanging loose.
My eyes gleamed red once again. I cocked my head and wondered why they did that. I shook it off and went back to look at the jewelry.
After a while I chose a gold necklace that said "believe" and a gold bracelet saying "flames". I put on some light makeup and was ready to school.
I bring down a backpack that was packed for me that I found on my bed.
The clack of the boots on the tile was echoing around the spiral stairs when I went down.
"You're ready, I'm ready, let's go!" I heard a cheery voice from behind me.
I turned and saw a grinning Kamerblynn in a blue Spagetti strap shirt, baby blue skinny jeans, blue fuzzy boots, and a white cover up. Her hair was curly and draped over her shoulders.
"Ok then!" I smiled as she took my hand and ran out the main doors.
We took a car driven by someone in really light blue.
"This is my chauffeur, John," she said, seeing my curious face over who he was.
John... Is he my bass guitar?
Soon, the car started driving towards a gate. When we reached it, it was a school of many colors for many elements, with different elements carved in the sides.
"Um.. So, how many entrances to this school are there?" I asked, looking out the window.
"As many kingdoms as there are, there are a lot, which means there are many gates through out the school grounds," Kamer explained.
I nodded, showing that I understood. There were four main gates. I saw a blinding white gate where white cars were coming through, above it an engravement of a cloud with swirly lines around it. Air kingdom. A green gate with earthly colored cars driving through, the engravement was a tree. Earth kingdom. A blue gate with blue cars driving out of it, and engravement of three wavy lines on top of each other. Water kingdom.
We got out of the car and Kamer said goodbye to John. Then he drove off towards the water kingdom. I looked at my gate, red and an engravement of a single flame.
"Come on, Cassidy! We have to get your schedule!" Kamer grabbed me and we ran off towards the school enterance nearest to us.
