---Quinn's POV---
Lucas took me to his office to talk. When we got there, he held the door for me (who knew evil had manners!), then slammed the door and locked it.

The room was dark, with black walls, dark wood furniture, and big, cushiony, seats. I sat down and Lucas sat across from me.

"So, what's up?" I leaned back in my seat and rested my head on the palm of my hand.

"Listen, as it turns out, I didn't fully defeat the Ice Kingdom," Lucas looked at me.

"What."

"I physically defeated everything, but unfortunately, I didn't kill the heir to the throne. He is still lives, however, he is pretty much the only living Ice Kingdom citizen we know of."

"So, he is a dude?" I leaned forward and drew circles on the desk with my finger.

"Yes he is a 'dude'." Lucas rolled his eyes.

"Ok, ok. So, why do I need to know this?" I asked.

"I want your help to find him- and kill him. I can't be known as the Dark, Evil, King of the Dark Kingdom that failed to get rid of one of the weakest main kingdoms!" He rested his head in his hands and sighed.

"Listen, if he is from one of the weakest main kingdoms, shouldn't he also be easy to defeat?" I raised an eyebrow.

"No, you don't understand, he isn't easy to defeat, my strongest men failed! You, you are a different story, though. You are the strongest girl I know! I mean how old are you? Who cares! You are extremely powerful, more powerful than mother, and that's saying something. Come on, Queenie, do it for your bro." He smirked as he said the last word.

"Queenie?" I got up.

"Yeah, I thought it was a cool nickname and stuff!" I leaned over him.

"Don't call me Queenie ever again if you want to live."  He laughed.

His laugh went away as his eyes traveled to my necklace, the one that held some of my powers, before I left my friends, so we could combine powers. He reached up and yanked it off my neck.

I scowled. "What was that for, give it back!" I tried to take it, but he held it away.

He stood up. "This is going to be part of my plan."

He walked to his window and out his hands behind his back, the necklace it the left one.

"What are you talking about?" I stood next to him.

"You are going to go back to your old friends, gather them together, and take theirs, then, when you have to take on that heir, you will wear all of them, and become the strongest of them all!" He held up his left hand, the blinding white orb glowing and hanging next to his wrist.

"Where would I gather them? Have they noticed I've been gone for a day or two?" I looked at him.

Lucas turned and grinned. "That, dear little sister, is you job. Get them together! I had sent in a replacement for you for a while, I will call her back." He snapped his fingers and a girl that looked exactly like me, except for the bottom of her hair was gray, and so were her eyes, appeared in a cloud of smoke.

Lucas looked away and started coughing. Fake-me looked at him worried and mumbled something, then hit his back for a while. I tried not to laugh.

A minute later, Lucas stopped coughing and stood straight. "Quinn, this is Melody. She has been working for me for years. She shape-shifts."

Fake-me's face started morphing, her height shrunk an inch, and after a couple seconds, a different girl stood in front of me. She had short, very light, blonde hair, and oddly stunning teal eyes. She was beautiful. She was an inch shorter than me, and wore a black, flowy, dress that went to her knees, and boots that went halfway to her knees.

"Hi, I'm Melody! I'm going to be your maid!" She winked at me and shook my hand without asking first.

Her voice was oddly interesting to listen to, calming with a hint of southern accent.

"Quinn, nice to meet you."

"Sorry, I kind of took over your body a couple days ago, when I shape-shift, I take over their body, slowly draining them of control of their body," She smiled sweetly.

"That's- um- interesting," I looked at Lucas and he shrugged.

"Mel, show Quinn her room."

"Gladly, sir," Melody took my arm and dragged me out of Lucas's office and up to the room I would be staying in.

"So, I know most of Lucas's workers are forced into working here, we're you?" I asked as we walked up stairs for what felt like the hundredth time.

"Lucas? Who's that?" She looked at me confused.

"Oh I mean, Shad Richard... or something like that," I shrugged.

"Oh! Lucas, you brother! Yeah, Shad Rock and I go back. He was my friend back in middle school before he went all evil. I joined him, I couldn't possibly think about staying away from my best friend! Sure, I'm not evil, I'm not held captive, this was my choice to be here! Trust me, this is the best thing that has ever happened to me!" She smiled and turned into a room.

The room had black walls, band posters (yes!), and a king sized bed with black and white sheets.

"Oh! I like this!" I said, laying on the bed.

"You better, this is your room forever!" Melody raised her hands.

"Ok, I could get used to being evil," I smiled.

"Who couldn't? This castle is amazing, better than any other castle in all the kingdoms!"

"Yeah, but I might miss my home, it will be hard being away from my family."

"Darling, that's the problem with being evil, you have to make sacrifices." Melody said.

She say next to me, and I realized, we are going to get along just fine.

"Yeah, yeah you're right. Sacrifices are going to be made."
