Cassidy's POV
My life as been turned upside down. Having an evil king in my head isn't even the beginning of it. Thanks to him, I have gotten my best friends to hate my guts... or at least start to.
I sighed as I walked to the lunch room to my normal table. Kamer and Ever looked up at me, Ever rolled her eyes and went back to reading her book, and Kamer just glared at me.
"So, um, where is Quinn?" I asked, rubbing my nape.
"She is sitting with the Carters, they are working on new puns. One Quinn came up with is 'I will hate Cassidy for QUINNtillions,' you really got on her bad side," Ever said, not looking up from her book.
"Well, she is forgiving and fun loving, right? She should be over it soon," I tried to see if that was true.
"No, Quinn can hold a grudge for a billion years, you won't be forgiven anytime soon," Kamer replied.
"You mean a QUINNtillion years?" Ever rolled her eyes at the horrible pun.
"Yeah, heh, didn't think of that."
"That's it, I'm going to talk to her. This is extreme. I can't keep up this feud," I walked over to the table where she was laughing with the Carters.
"Quinn." She ignored me.
Carter C looked at me and scoffed, then whispered something to Quinn, causing her to laugh.
"Quinn. Or someone! I need to talk to someone who is her friend!" I slammed my hand on the table, causing Carter M to look at me, then sigh.
He got up. He grabbed my shoulder and took me away from Quinn.
"Ok, Quinn hates your guts, she won't give up on ignoring you, apologize, give her cake, she will take the cake and eat it. But not apologize. Give it up. She likes to be top dog. She is a dog, she doesn't like to loose. Even if you say you loose, she won't stop. She thinks of this as a war, not a silly game, a war. Quinn vs You. You can't win," then he walked off.
I sighed and went back to my table. You can't win.
"Yes I can. I won't lose!" I realized I walked passed my table and into the hall where my locker is.
"But you will. Your friends hate you. It's true," I tired to the voice and saw a man in all black. He had black robes and red eyes. His hair was a mess and he had the metal arm, just like in the story we found.
He would've been pretty intimidating if he wasn't three inches shorter than me.
"You," I scowled.
"Me," He smirked.
"You ruined my life!" I screamed.
"Who? Moi? I haven't done anything, "He raised his hands like he was innocent.
"Liar!" I yelled at him.
"Be quiet my dear pawn. They might hear you!"
"Who might hear me?"
"The principal, he would hear you and come capture me!" She said.
"Oh. Ok then. Help the dark King is keeping me hostage!!!" I screamed.
"Oh, well played, miss. Tell my sister I miss her and she needs to visit. She is way more powerful than you guys, she would fit in perfectly and we could rule the world!"
"Sister?"
"Yes, I've been making her hate you to bring out her evil," he fiddled his fingers and laughed.
We heard thumping and then the principals shadow appeared.
"Oh, no!" Then he transformed into... a bunny?
"What?" I whispered under my breath.
"Ms Flamewood! What are you doing? Is this a prank? You got us all worried that this was true!"
"But it was sir! He just turned into a bunny! He is this BUNNY!" I got frustrated.
"Flamewood! DETENTION!" He stormed off.
I got frustrated. I crouched down towards the king.
"This is all your fault!" I stormed off to the lunch roommate not caring about the dark bunny king.
Tell my sister I miss her.
Why, I've been making her hate you to make her evil.
Is his sister Quinn?
