Sorry it took me so long to post. I've been busy and I have to be on my parents computer to update, lets just say they don't like that to much. Anyway. I hope you enjoy the new chapter and I'll try to have the next one up soon. Please comment and vote!

Ani slowly woke up; she could feel the loose grip around her. She could feel his chest moving up and down in slow, even breaths. She was lying on top of Luke.

Very carefully she went to go slip out of his arms, trying not to wake him. He tightened his grip for a moment before he let her go. “Morning.” His voice was thick was sleep.

Ani gave him a smile and sat up. “Good morning Luke. Did I wake you?” she felt cold after leaving his arms.

He shook his head and sat up, his hair sticking up in odd places. “No. I woke up a few seconds before you did.”

Ani looked around and noticed that they had been sleeping for a while now. “Where is everyone?”

Luke shrugged. “Getting ready for the war I guess.”

She looked at him in shock. “I thought that all of you were neutral.” Why were they getting ready for war if they didn’t have a side?

He nodded. “We are. We just need to be ready.” Ani nodded, lost in thought. Luke cleared his throat to get her attention. He didn’t want her thinking too much. “You know, this room used to be a dinning room, back when I lived here.”

Ani looked at him. “I…I think I remember that. It was smaller and the table was chipped and the legs were mix matched, but it was a family table.”

Luke smiled. “Yeah. I miss that old table. I can’t seem to remember what happened to it though. It was still her when I left.”

She sighed. “It broke. It was an old table Luke, everything has an ending. Nothing lasts forever.” She whispered the last part.

Luke watched her for a moment and finally bit his lip. “You look lovely Ani. Nothing in Heaven can compare.” He had wanted to tell her that for so long now.

Ani blushed and thought about looking away, but found herself moving closer. “Really?” she whispered.

He nodded and moved slightly closer to her. “Yes, you put the stars to shame with your shine.” Normally he didn’t have this much courage, but he was tired of watching everyone else flirt with her.
