-Jake P.O.V-

Jake stood in deep woods in front of a small hill in the ground; the hill had a metal grate hidden under fake leaves. It was the entrance to the Outcasts home.

He really hoped he hadn't made a mistake in keeping Ani here. He was just curious as to why she was remembering. She wasn't supposed to remember, it was part of the Demons curse. The fire burned away everything. She had never remembered before, even if she was told who she was.

He sighed. He also hoped the girls were getting along. He knew Mary and Kate had a, he shivered, crush on him, he wasn't interested though. He belonged to Ani. Even if he couldn't have her.

The girl’s relationship was strange. They were in love with each other and did everything together, however it was an open relationship and they could be with whoever they wished. They both wished for him.

Quickly he looked around, the only reason he was up here was because Stephen had said he heard something. Stephen was the type of person who could be frightened by his own shadow. Most of the time he was wrong, but every once in a blue moon he was right.

He looked up as he heard a branch snap and saw someone stuck halfway up the tree. He walked over to it and looked up at them. "Do you need help Luke?"

Luke gave a small scream and jumped, causing the branches that had trapped him to break. Luke started to fall towards the ground when, with a ripping sound, his wings came out of his back and snapped open. They looked like soft dove feathers and they shone in the sunlight. Slowly he brought himself down in front of Jake. "Don't ever do that again." His voice shook slightly.

Jake smiled, poor Luke picked a bad day to spy on them. "You're trespassing Luke." He grabbed his arm. "You're going to have to come with me."

Luke tried to pull away but Jake just tightened his grip. He started frantically flapping his wings, hitting Jake. "Let me go traitor."

Jake pulled Luke closer to him, he hated when people called him that. "Listen closely. I am not a traitor. I never chose a side so I have no one to betray."

Luke glared at him. "You betrayed me."

Jake stared at him for a moment before he dragged him inside. He had nothing to say to that. In a way Luke was right, but Jake had no other options at the time.

Luke didn't say a word as Jake dragged him through the tunnel. Jake was glad, he wasn't in the mood for a trip down memory lane.

Sheen froze as he saw them. "What is he doing here?" He asked, staring at Luke.

Jake sighed; he really didn't want to deal with this. He wanted to get back to Ani. "Luke was trespassing. Take him to the meeting room and gather the others. I'll go get Jason, he's on patrol."

Sheen grabbed Luke, who didn't even put up a fight, and nodded. "Sure thing boss." He winked and pulled Luke away.

Jake rolled his eyes. He hated the history they had with Luke; it made it hard to be his enemy. He started walking back towards the entrance. It had surprised him to see Luke at that school, but what had shocked him the most was that Luke didn't remember them. He didn't remember until after Ani shocked him. Then he had started following them around like a lost puppy. He had even gone as far as sneaking into their hide out.

Jake stopped just short of running into Jason. He hissed. "What are you doing here? I told you to look around outside." He was already on edge and nothing seemed to be going his way.

Jason held his hands out. "Hold on, chill out. I walked around the entire perimeter, nothing. I even searched the shadows."

Jake narrowed his eyes. "Did you check the trees?"

Jason tilted his head. "The trees? Why would I look in th-" he suddenly stopped and cursed. "Luke was hiding in a tree, wasn't he?"

Jake nodded. "He's in the meeting room. If he wants to sneak around then we'll treat him like the people we catch sneaking around. Follow me."

Jason rolled his eyes. "You should go chill out with Ani for awhile. You're way too stressed out. Relax and have some fun with her. You both need it."

Jake glared at him. "Shut up and mind your own business." He was upset that Jason had recommended that. He wanted to be with her, but after what almost happened last time he couldn't trust himself.

Slowly they both headed for the meeting room to decide what to do with Luke.
