Amelie's POV

As soon as the ship started sailing away from Southampton, Jim and I went to the Promenade Cafe for some cookies, brownies, and tarts. Everything in this ship is so delicious. I can't wait for a fancy dinner at the Romeo and Juliet, where dinner is served.

Hours have passed, and I can still see some lights of Southampton far away. Now, I am doing my makeup to have dinner. Dinner is served at 8:30pm, and everything is really fancy, the reason why you should get changed after a long day of visiting different cities, or having fun around the ship. Regular dinner nights are with just some fancy, comfortable clothes, but the formal nights, which are two, are the nights where people should get dressed like if they were going to a wedding or attending a red carpet. I am so ready for those.

My makeup is done, and I tie my hair in a bun. I will meet Jim outside the room at 8:20pm and it is 8:03. I take my bathroom robe off and put my short, long-sleeve, plain, black dress on, and then some beautiful diamond earrings. Finally I add on some light, pink lipstick, gloss, take my bag, phone, Seapass, and go out of the room. Jim is already waiting for me outside. He looks so handsome in a dark blue buttoned shirt, a black blazer, and black pants. Oh how much I would to just kiss him.

"Hello," says Jim. "You look really pretty," he says with a smile on his face.

"Oh...well thank you," I say, a little surprised. "And you look...really handsome," I reply, trying not to sound very...obvious.

Jim laughs and then offers me a bent arm for me to hold, like if we were royalty.

I take his arm and we start walking side by side, people walking out of other staterooms, also dressed fancy, staring at us.

We go in the elevator and then to Deck 2. As we go out, we walk through the main doors of the Romeo and Juliet dining room.

"Good evening," says the man at the entrance.

"Good evening," we reply.

We walk over to our table, heads turning, and take a seat. Seconds later, a man approaches our table.

"Good night," he says, with an accent I don't recognize. "My name is Arief, I am from Indonesia, and I will be serving you on your stay in this wonderful ship."

"Nice to meet you," we say.

"It is nice to meet you, too, and my pleasure to serve you. Here are your menus. This part in here," he says, pointing at the bottom part of the menu, "is the part where you can find the dishes that will be served every single night. On the top part, you can find the dishes that will be changed every night, so make sure that you choose whichever you like the best," he says with a smile on his face.

"Thank you," we say in harmony.

"I'll be coming back in a few minutes to take your orders."

He hands a menu to each of us. The menu has a huge variety of foods to choose from, starting from the appetizers, to the main dishes. The dessert menu is separate and I think will be given to us at the very end.

Food, food, more food. Everything is delicious!! From the lamb to the pasta to the shrimp to the chocolate lava cake, best meal of my life.

"Oh god," says Jim. "Everything is so good!"

"I know! I feel so full," I say, laughing.

Jim laughs to and then comes a little closer, making my heart skip a beat. "Me...too."
