Amelie's POV

Jim wakes me up at about 6:00 am. We packed up yesterday, and honestly, this didn't give me one clue about where we are going. For what Jim told me, he has the perfect plan to hide the 'mysterious' place we're going to until I am inside the plane...what will he do? I have no idea.

I walk into the closet and get changed, as Jim takes the suitcases to the car. I am trying to think about different places in the world where he could take me, but I really don't expect a thing. I am very excited about this.

I grab my bag, headphones, phone, and charger, finally walking out my room's door, the smile not leaving my face. Once, I'm out the door of the house, I spot Jim standing beside the car, opening my door.

"Thank you, dear," I say, wearing a huge smile on my face.

Jim smiles back at me, and walks to his side of the car.

"Look at you," he says, as he closes his door. "It's 6:30 am, and you are more awake than any other morning."

I speak a small laugh, as he starts driving on the streets. "This is so exciting," I say, clapping my hands. "I mean, not knowing where you're taking me...I am just trying to think about something, but I've got nothing."

Jim laughs a little, some sort of...forced evil laugh we could say, but with a touch of his beautiful, true laughter showing in it. "Nah, I really don't think you'll guess where we're going."

I turn to look at him, as he is looking forward. He drives and drives, until he finally gets to LAX airport, airplanes and more airplanes catching my eyes in the early morning sky.

We walk through the glass doors of the airport, the warm breeze from the inside making my frozen body melt, as the temperature outside is very cold.

"Okay," starts Jim, as we stop in front of the Check-In area. "This is what we'll do. You'll stay here, so that you can't see the tickets when the man prints them, nor the tags of the suitcases."

"Damn it," I say with a smile.

"Hahaha," he laughs sarcastically. "There was no way I was going to mess up in the first part. I have everything planned already, cherry, don't forget that," he says winking.

I laugh a little and look up to his eyes.

"I'll be right back," he says, pecking my lips.

I see Jim walking with both suitcases to the Check-In area, my mind still wandering and wandering about where we could be going. I see him talking to the man, then the man puts the suitcases on the back, Jim grabbing the plane tickets, the tickets that have the mystery solved. Jim puts them on the inside pocket of his blazer, and walks towards me.

"Ready," he says.

"Ready."

"Should we walk through security?" he asks.

"Yeah," I reply with a smile. "Lets go. Maybe in the gate I'll get to see."

"Nahahaha...I don't think so, my lady."

I turn to look at him and laugh. "Lets go," I say, taking his arm.

Jim and I walk over to Starbucks to have a quick breakfast before boarding the plane.

"May I have an American coffee and a warm brownie, please," I say, as the man takes the order.

"Alright...your name?" he asks.

"Amelie."

"Okay, Amelie...and for you?" he asks, now turning to Jim.
