Amelie's POV

I feel my body, flying over a bed of white roses, as I notice that I have a sort of smile on my face, my mind drowning itself in beautiful thoughts. I open my eyes, and I see Jim, who is looking directly at me, and wearing an all white suit.

I slowly bring my hand up, and stroke his cheek in a gentle way, both of us smiling. I realize that I am wearing a small white dress made of silk, as I take a look at my sleeve, and then Jim leans over, and kisses my lips gently.

There is absolutely no sound, no words, just the two of us. We don't break away from the kiss, until a whisper catches my concentration.

"Amelie," says the voice. "Wake up, future Mrs. Parsons."

I feel my body finally collapse into some kind of darkness, as if I was falling and falling through a very deep and dark hole.

"Ams," repeats the voice again.

Jim gets farther and farther away, and I keep falling and falling, then—

I open my eyes slowly, the rays of the sun delicately touching my face.

"Good morning, bride!!" exclaims Kaley.

I can't control the smile that starts blooming on my face, and close my eyes again. I can't believe I'm getting married to Jim today. I remember the times in which we were just best friends, and I can't understand how I just simply didn't give up and just kiss him.

"What time is it?" I ask, stretching my arms to the ceiling, as I sit up.

"Nine thirty," says Clarisse, who is standing in the room with the rest of the girls.

"We wanted to let you sleep because you're the bride, so we went out and got some Starbucks," speaks Mayim, taking the Starbucks cups towards me.

I take a close look at them, and notice something that sends a chill through my spine, a chill of excitement more than anything else.

"Your cup," adds Melissa. "Says 'bride'. Our cups say 'bridesmaid...' and the bridesmaid's name.

I smile and take my cup. "Oh my god, girls!" I say, looking around it. "This is so amazing!"

"I knew you would like it," says Danielle.

"Now drink it slowly, and..." Beth shrugs, wearing a smile on her face and looking at the rest of the girls. "I guess we should go take a look at the ceremony and reception to see how the decorations are being finished, while Amelie takes a relaxing, hot shower. Then we'll start getting ready."

"Beautiful," says Kaley, looking at her. "The ceremony is at 7:00 pm, so the pictures of you and Jim will be taken at 4:00 pm."

"Your hair and makeup starts at 12:00 pm," speaks Melissa, smiling at me.

"Aaaaand," adds Mayim. "We got you the best hair and makeup artist. She and her team are the ones that get us ready for important events like the Emmys, so you will look gorgeous."

I feel a sudden shot of unbelief towards the girls. They are truly amazing and nice. I can't believe they actually got me this. "Girls," I continue smiling. "This is amazing, really...I don't have words to explain how happy I am right now."

My team of bridesmaids smiles at me, and then move towards me to embrace me in a group hug.

"I love you girls," I add, then pulling away from the hug.
