~Carl's POV~

I quickly picked up the wounded Mary. Everyone was panicking including me. Daryl mentioned that there was a little barn were we could stay for the night. It started raining and Mary's blood was all over me as well as water.

We quickly carried her towards the barn and set her down on the hey covered floor. I reached into her backpack and grabbed what was left of her bandages. She had disinfectant but I thought it would be better when she woke up.

I took her shirt off to leave her in just her bra. She was bleeding out, we needed more bandages. Tara handed me a shirt like she read my mind, and I quickly ripped it and put pressure on her shoulder.

When her shoulder stopped bleeding, I wrapped around the other half of the t-shirt to bandage it.

I left her to sleep. And just stayed with her. Noah, Tara, Maggie and Rosita did the same.

"What the fuck were you thinking?!" Dad shouted at Sasha. "She could have been killed!"

"I was protecting everyone!" Sasha said fiercely. "I didn't mean to do that. I'll apologise when she wakes up."

Everyone was silent and frustrated. I was tired but I'm staying with Mary even if she doesn't like me. I want to apologise to her.

"Michonne, Daryl and Abraham go take watch. Make sure there's no walkers around. Glenn, Sasha and Maggie go fill the water bottles with water from the rain." Dad ordered.

"I don't think we have to." Glenn said showing us bottles of water that were filled and a medical kit. It came with a note that read 'from a friend.'

"I think it's wise if we actually take the water due to the lack of it we have." Eugene mumbled going to grab a bottle but it getting it being slapped out of his hand by Abraham.

"We don't know this person. They could be dangerous." Dad told everyone.

"But we need that stuff dad! For Mary. For us." I answered. Mary could die and I'm not ready to loose another person.

"Take the kit. Check it all first. Empty the bottles and refill them." That sounded stupid but it has to be done.

I grabbed the box and looked through it all. I found some stitches and a needle. I couldn't do it though, I'm not experienced.

Rosita saw me struggle and took it of me and did it herself. She disinfected it first.

I just want Mary to be okay.

~The Next day~

The rain had finally stopped over night but decided to leak through the ceiling of the barn. That's great! *sarcasm*

I hadn't left Mary's side since She was stabbed. I slept next to her last night. She hadn't woke but I guess she lost a lot of blood, she needed the rest.

Sasha and Maggie have just left for watch. Most other people just stayed in the barn except for Daryl who went out hunting.

It was quite early, about 8am (well early for me) which means not many people are awake yet. I've only just woke up and the people who were awake were doing jobs and such.

I was deep in thought when Maggie came through the barn door with Sasha and two other people. There was a a guy about mid thirties with curly dark blond hair and a rucksack. The second guy was about my age with dark brown hair pulled up into a quiff. He also had a bag but his weapons were nowhere to be seen.

"Hey everyone..." Maggie spoke up quietly. Once she had everyone's attention she carried on. "This is Aaron and Ollie." We all grabbed our weapons and pointed then towards the pair. "We meet them outside, we stripped them of their weapons and gear."

"Hi." At that moment Judith burst out crying so I took her of Dad and cradled her. "It's nice to meet you." Aaron said gesturing his hand towards dad for a handshake.

"You said he had a weapon?" Dad asked Maggie and she politely gave him a small pistol. "It's there something you need?"

"They want us to audition for a camp." Sasha said loudly for us to hear.

"I wish their was a better word. That makes us sound like a dance troop, that's only on Friday nights." Aaron laughed. "It's not a camp, it's a community and we think you'll make a valuable addition. But that's not my call. Our job is to convince you."

"I know, if I were you I wouldn't go either." Ollie spoke up finally. Something about this guy is weirdly odd. "Not until I exactly knew what I was getting into."

"We've bought pictures. Of the town. Several actually. Sasha can you hand Rick my pack?" Aaron suggested as Sasha pulled out an envelope. "There's no way I could convince you to come with me just by talking about it, that's why I brought those."

"I apologise in advance for the picture quality, we just found an old camera store-"

"We don't give a shit." Daryl murmured.

"You're absolutely one hundred percent right." Aaron said. "That's the first picture I wanted to show you. Because nothing I can say matters unless you know our community is safe. If you join us, you will be."

"Each panel in that wall is a fifteen foot high, twelve foot wide slab of solid steel. Framed by rolled steel beams. Nothing alive or dead gets through that without our say so." Ollie explained, using brief hand gestures but it only made him look stupider.

"Like we said, security is vitally important, in fact only one resource is more critical to our life of survival; the people. Together we're strong, you can make us even stronger." Aaron spoke, "On the next picture, you'll see what it is like to live inside the gates. Our community was first intructed-" Dad had then punched Aaron and knocked him out cold.

He then went up behind Ollie and handcuffed his hands behind his back. He did the same to Aaron too.

No matter how much Ollie resisted, Dad managed to sit Ollie down next to the wall near Mary. He looked at her briefly for a second.

"Mary?!"
