The group still isn't back and I'm not sure when they will be back. Rick had told me some went out on watch or something like that, and others went to check the place out.
It had been an hour stuck with Ollie, Judith, Rick and Aaron. A nightmare.
Ollie wouldn't stop talking about me and the group. He told me he loves me but frankly, that's bullshit.
Aaron is still on about this place, called 'Alexandria'. From the pictures it looked heavenly, but again Rick thinks it's bullshit.
I'm so bored. Nothing to do here. Not even a decent book.
I have a sharpie in my bag! I picked it up on the trip to Washington DC. It was in the library and I guess I was so bored that I started doodling in some old book. I drew a flower, a cherokee rose, that my Mom had a tattoo of on her ankle. I guess I forget to bring the paper with me.
I walked over to where there was a space on the barn wall so I could draw. I decided to draw a sheriff's hat. Nothing too big and fancy.
In the moment I was just about done, the doors flew open to reveal everyone. Tara, Rosita, Glenn, Maggie, Noah and Eugene were the first ones to say hello to me and screaming at me to see if I was alright.
Then I saw Carl. His sheriff's hat placed directly on his scruffy brunette hair. His cheeks turned into a huge smile but then was replaced with a sad one instead.
I ran over to him and gave him a huge hug. I had missed him so much while I was here and I missed his company. His funny stories about before, and his terrible jokes about Eugene and some of the walkers.
Carl was taken aback at first then wrapped his warm arms around me. This is what I had missed.
"Thank you" I whispered in his ear.
"For what?" He politely asked in the cutest way possible.
"Being there for me. Making sure I didn't die." I over exaggerated which just made him chuckle.
Everyone else talked about what they saw.
"We need this. Its safe and we're going, all of us. Somebody say something if they feel differently." Michonne ordered. Everyone looked around for any takers. Only Daryl spoke.
"I don't know man. This barn stinks like horse shit." Daryl mumbled. I wanted to laugh but it would ease the room, plus I'll look stupid and I'm so socially awkward for that.
"Yeah we're going." Rick said with no enthusiasm in his voice.
I hope this place is legit.
~1 hour later~
We had jut gotten in the RV to this place, 'Alexandra'. Everyone except Rick, Glenn, Aaron and Michonne because they was in another car.
We had just set off when Judith started crying. Carol managed it though by giving her some more apple sauce. Carl couldn't get to her because she was in the front of the RV with Daryl and Ollie, who is still tied up in his handcuffs.
This place better be good.
Carl was asleep on my lap which was adorable with his little snores every now and again. Tara wanted to draw on his face, like cat whiskers or something, but I disagreed even though I found it funny if it did happen.
It was dark out now which means mostly everyone was asleep execpt from me because I couldn't move to get comfortable. So I just say there in silence. Nothing to do. Great.
Suddenly, Carl's started moving and groaned. He got up into a seated position, being careful of Rosita who was asleep next to him.
"Hey." He finally said. He looked so tired and stressed but he won't admit it.
"Hi sleepy head. Nice bed-hair." I chuckled quietly. He then fixed his hair making sure his hair was swooped to the left.
"So, you haven't slept? You should sleep."
"Um... well there was a boy on my lap asleep so, you know I couldn't do anything about it." I smirked.
"Oh shush! I bet I looked adorable." You did. "What?"
Shit I said that out loud. My brain is so messed up.
"Um... nothing. I didn't say anything." I denied. "I'm gonna try and sleep. Good night."
I placed my head on his shoulder, ready to sleep. This was not a comfortable position. Carl then wrapped his arm around me, making sure he didn't catch my shoulder.
"Night Mary."
"Goodnight." I said again.
"Oh and by the way, your adorable when you sleep too."
