~Mary's POV~

We've been travelling for about an hour since we left the small town.

I moved cars because I felt uncomfortable in a RV with Ollie. He seems really strange and it's freaking me out...

I'm in a car with Rick, Michonne, Aaron, Judith and Noah. Judith is sat on my lap.

"How long are we gonna be?" Noah asked.

"I think about 5 minutes." Aaron replied.

There was silence in the car for the rest of the way. I just thought about what the place would be like. Nice people. Food. Oh God, food is all I need right now. Chocolate I could die for. Soft clean beds, oh if only.  Hopefully this place will be great.

We arrived at a huge place with massive walls surrounding it. This looks promising.

We all stepped out of the car along with the others. Everyone looked amazed.

As we were walking to the gate, I saw a dead walker on the ground with a 'W' placed in the middle of it's forehead. I had seen a couple of 'W' around this neighbourhood when we were travelling here. Huh, weird.

When we got to the gate, we were startled by a raccoon. Daryl shot it and held it up as a prize.

The gate opened and showed two men. One was in crisp clean clothes and a hairless face. He had light brown curly hair, like Aaron's but different. He looked startled when Daryl mentioned that he had bought dinner (the raccoon.)

Everything was clean, no blood or death has hit this place yet. Solar panels were placed near some of the houses. The church was huge and just like the one we were previously at. The also was a huge lake which over looked the town.

When the other boy turned around, I stopped dead in my tracks. The same dark brown hair and friendly green eyes.

"Alex!"

I ran straight over to him and hugged the living daylight out of him. He wrapped his arms around me.

I cried happy tears as I looked into his familiar eyes. Tears pricked his eyes but I knew that he didn't want to show them.

"Oh my god." I cried.

"Good to have you back." He whispered in my ear. We let go and Alex decided to introduce himself.

"Uh, hi. I'm Alex and this is Nicolas. Welcome to Alexandria. Follow me and I'll show you around."

We followed Alex and Nicolas to a street near a house. The houses were big and fancy with a porches and gardens. Colourful flowers were displayed and bright green neat grass. Everything was beautiful, like before.

Laugher was heard and people met our gaze with happy smiles. There was a group of people my age who were sat on the grass. A couple of them waved and smiled. I smiled weakly back and turned my gaze towards what was happening.

"You need to empty your weapons, it's kinda mandatory here. No weapons inside the walls." Nicolas spoke.

We all started unpacking our weapons. Carol struggled but it was fine. I gave all my weapons in except for my knife that Chris gave me. Alex gave me a funny look, but I looked at him in desperation. He knew what I meant.

"We're gonna need another bin!" A woman laughed, taking in our weapons. She seemed really nice and friendly.

"Right, me, Ollie and Nicolas will show you your houses. Just get into the group you want to share with." Alex told us. "Mary, you can share with me maybe?"

"Um... If that's okay with everyone." I said timidly, asking for permission.

"Mary is gonna be staying with us for a couple of days." Rick told Alex. What the fuck? Rick.

"Rick-"

"It's okay Mary. It's only for tonight, don't worry." Alex interrupted me.

"Fine. But I'm coming with you now. You know to see the house."

"Yeah totally. Come on, let's show you guys around."

Maggie, Glenn, Michonne, Carol and Daryl followed Alex and I as we walked along the bloodless street. I've never seen anything so clean since before.

"You guys can pick your houses, any out of these three. I'm assuming Carol and Daryl are sharing...?" Alex asked.

Daryl grunted in reply and headed towards one of the houses. Carol immediately followed. They're cute, but not together?

"Come on, I'll show you our house. It's just down this street." Alex said, dragging me along with him.

"Hey Alex!" A woman with blond hair and a sweet smile called. She was carrying a basket full of random items and was walking down the laugher filled street.

"Hey Jessie! Is Ron in? I was gonna see him later, introduce Mary." Alex gestured his hands towards me and I awkwardly waved back. Jessie dropped all of her things, and came and hugged me.

"YOU'RE Mary? Oh dear, look at you. You're beautiful. My son Ron is the same age as you. You should stop by later and meet him and his friends." She smiled politely. "Oh and your brother is the cutest thing-"

"M-Mason?" I asked in astonishment. In all this confusion I forgot to ask about him. I thought he was dead. "Let me see him! Where is he?"

"He's at mine, playing with Sam. Come I'll show you-" Jessie started offering but was cut off when Alex dragged me to her house. It was only a few houses down.

We reached the house and I gasped in amazement. The house was clean and pearly white. A kitchen, living room, dinning table. It was magnificent.

I could hear oldish music being played from upstairs. Sometimes it would skip so it must be old.

"Mason!" Alex shouted, leaning against the banister that leads upstairs looking like a smartass.

"What, Alex?! I'm trying to play-" I started at my baby brother, his light brown hair turning slightly into a darkish brown. He was 11 now, I think. "M-Mary?" Mason cried in disbelief. He came running at me at full speed hugging me so tightly, that I couldn't breath.

"It's me. I'm back."
