"Me and Carl, we saw it yesterday." I said to everyone in the meeting. The new guy Heath also told us that he saw them too on his way back to Alexandria.

"What were you doing outside the walls anyway?" Glenn asked protectively. He was covered in scratches and bruises because he was attacked by some walkers with Nicolas. But the way he told it made me question whether it was true or not.

"That's a different matter." Carl intruded. "The point is, is that they're by the quarry. They're gonna come sooner or later."

"Now what I'm proposing sounds risky, but walkers are already slipping through the exits. One of the trucks keeping the walkers in could go off the edge any day now, maybe after one more hard rain. That exit, sends them East. All of them, right at us. This isn't about if it gives, it about when. It's gonna happen. This is why we have to do this sooner." Rick proposed strictly.

"I don't have another word for it, but this is terrifying. All of it. But it sounds like there isn't another way."   Carol spoke up.

"Maybe there is." Carter suggested. I've never really seen Carter around, mainly because he's out on construction or I'm just not a social addict. "Couldn't we just build up the weak spots? I could draw up the plans, I worked on the wall with Reg. The construction crew can try to make it save."

"Even if we could, the sound of the walkers is drawing more and more everyday. Building won't change that." Rick disagreed. Carl and I nodded in agreement.

"We're gonna do what Rick says." Deanna surprisingly said. "The plan is laid out."

"I told you all, we're gonna have Daryl leading them away."

"Me too." Sasha uttered. "I can take a car right next to him. It can't just be him. I'll keep 'em coming and Daryl will keep them from being sloppy."

"I'll go with her. It's a long way." Abraham blurted out.

"We'll have two teams, one East side of the forest helping manage this thing. We're gonna have a few people on watch from now on." Wait, they didn't have people on watch? How dangerous is that?! "Rosita, Spencer and Alex. They're out. So who's in?"

"Me." Michonne agreed.

"I'm in." Glenn also agreed.

"I'll like to help as well-" Gabriel added.

"No, who else? We need more."

"There's gonna be another way. We can't just control that many-" Carter acknowledged. To be fair he was right, but we can do it. We have to.

"I said it before. Walkers herd up, they'll follow a path of something strong, and that's how we get them all at once."

"So what? We're supposed to take your word for it? We're all suppose to just fall in line behind you after.."

"After what?"

"After you wave a gun around. Screaming, pointing it at people. After you shoot a man in the face. After you-"

"Enough!" Deanna shouts, diverting all of our attention to her. Suddenly the room becomes quiet.

A few others continue to get involved with the plan. Carl and I can't participate because we're too young. Yet, we can handle ourselfs.

"Frankly I think it's bullshit." I tell Carl. "We can handle ourselfs! I don't understand why we're not involved!"

He shrugged. "It doesn't matter what we think. It's too dangerous out there. We know that. You know that."

"Well what are we meant to do here? We can't defend this place then what do we do? Bake cookies? Play fucking video games? I don't think so."
