Deathly silence sweeping across the room. No one blinks, afraid they'll miss her reaction.
"Yes!" She cries, and then everyone throws their hands up and cheers.
(Y/n) dives at Steve, wrapping her arms around his neck as he stands. He easily sweeps her off her feet, spinning around until she's laughing and crying.
"Merry Christmas, (Y/n)," Steve whispers, hands shaking as he slides the ring up her finger.
"Marry Christmas," (Y/n) says back, planing a short kiss on his lips.
