There he was just like I remembered, and it was as if nothing had change. It was like I was right back to where I started. I constantly hear from others that people and feelings change, yet he could change a thousand times and I would still be in love with him. Though it seemed to be a little crazy, I haven't seen him in four years but I'm still in love...hopelessly and deeply in love.
"Emmie!"
He'd finally noticed me as his face immediately lit up. His smile was wide, emphasizing the dimples in his cheeks and crinkles by his bright green eyes. I loved his smile; basically I loved everything about him. And knowing that his smile was because of me only made the butterflies in my stomach flutter faster.
I quickly run over to him, my suitcase following behind me, as I dodge the people in the airport that were in my way. His strides became faster as we both collided into each other's arms. Even after all these years his five feet and eleven inches still towered over my five feet and one inch. His arms wrapped around my torso as he squeezed tighter.
I felt my lungs constricting as his grip continued to become tighter and tighter.
"Harry! Can't breathe," I managed to say as he let go.
"Sorry about that Emmie," he chuckled calling me by my nickname- he was the only one who was allowed to call me that.
I was so overwhelmed by this moment that I couldn't help the tears that were streaming down my face.
"Happy or sad tears?" He asked quickly, a sense of panic lased his voice.
I chuckled, "Happy, of course!"
He looked down at me like the skyscraper he was, my pour five feet one inches could never compare to his tower like physique.
"How are you?"
"I'm great! It's so good to see you," I smiled brightly examining his face. I couldn't help but just smile, it's been so long since I'd have family or friends around me that it all just seemed so surreal.
He definitely has aged since the last time I saw him. Though his hair has still maintained his curls, the length of it has definitely increased. He looked older in a more mature element, nothing like the young boy I left four years ago.
"You haven't changed a bit!" He smiled looking down at me.
"You're joking right?" I laughed raising my eyebrows.
"Did you get shorter?" He joked.
I shoved him back, giggling slightly, "No!"
"Hmm...let me think," he tapped his finger on his chin, "You had a birthday, didn't you?"
I decided to play along nodding my head, "You know what...I did."
"I thought so!" He smiled, happy that I've decided to go along with him, as he ruffles through my hair.
"Harry!" I whined trying to smooth it out.
"I see that you've changed," I smiled up at him admiring his longer hair, "You do know that getting a hair cut every six months is normal, yeah?"
"Oh shut it," he rolled his eyes, "I love my long hair."
"I do too!" I agreed, "May I braid it later?"
"No you may not!" He retorted wrapping his arm around my shoulders, "C'mon Emmie, let's get you home. We have a pretty long ride." He stated as he guided me out of the airport and toward his parked car.
