It was hot in the summer time, especially in freaking Orlando. I woke up sweating since the AC was turned off, and to Mason poking my cheek, telling me to get up.

"I don't remember you being an alarm clock." I mumbled, ruffling his hair. I noticed he was wearing his Star Wars pajamas I got him for his birthday last year. I can't believe it still fits. Everyday I see him growing into a big boy, and it makes me sad.

"Mom, I'm hungry."

I sat up slowly in my bed and stretched while Mason sat next to me, waiting patiently. After I finished stretching, I sat slouching next to him. "What do you want for breakfast, baby?" I asked.

"Pancakes?" He asked quietly. I smiled, kissing his messy hair.

"Of course, darling." I got out of bed and put on my glasses. "Hey, where's Mara?" I asked as Mason held my hand and pulled me to the kitchen.

"She woke me up five minutes ago and said that she was going to work." He shrugged as he sat down at the table.

Our apartment was small. It was two bedrooms, had a small living/dining area, a small but decent-sized kitchen right next to it, and a tiny-ass balcony.

"Do you want to watch Star Wars again?" I asked, grabbing the already used box of pancake mix. I grabbed a bowl and some water as well and started to make the mix.

"Well, not now. I have a feeling that you're getting tired of it." He said, making his way to the couch. He just keeps on moving everywhere.

"Love, I would never get sick of Star Wars." I said, starting to whisk. That was actually true. Ever since Mason has seen all of those Star Wars merchandise around the stores, he wanted to see the 7th movie at the theaters. I watched it with him, and now we kind of fangirl over the series.

"Okay!" He said brightly. He looked through the disk case and picked a DVD cover out. "We'll start from episode 3!" He popped it in the Play Station that my best friend Asa lent to me. We only use it for watching movies or going on Netflix.

"I still think that Rey is Luke Skywalkers daughter." I said, heating the pan up in the stove.

"Who would be the mom, then?" Mason asked.

"Hm, I'm not exactly sure."

"I think that Rey is Luke's granddaughter." Mason said, grabbing the remote controller. "But, does Kylo Ren look a lot like Snape?"

I laughed. "Nope, it's not just you. Mara thinks that, too." I assured him. Mason and I always talked like this about Star Wars. It's one of our bonding topics.

I heard my cell phone ring back in my room, so I stopped whisking and jogged slightly to my room, picking up on the third ring. It was my mom.

"Hello?" I asked, walking back towards the kitchen.

"Hey, I'd just like to remind you-"

"Dinner at your place with the Sugg's. I know." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Also, we're going to all stop by the hotel to meet them. Then, we'll all drive to my place for dinner."

"Not all of them will fit in your car, mom."

"That's why you and Mara are driving, too."

Amara was my younger sister. (We just call here Mara because we get to lazy to pronounce the A) She is younger than me by four years, also attending the University of Central Florida but for full time. She was pursuing her acting career; she's starred in many movies and commercials. She's very well known unlike me.
