"Hey, Caspar and Joe are coming over to the apartment today at 12:00." Mara said as we sat at the small, square dining table as we ate breakfast.

"For what?" I asked, eating a spoonful of cereal.

"Caspar's filming a video with me. And he didn't say why Joe was coming over." Mara said, shrugging.

"Oh," I said, shrugging with her, "okay. Well, I invited Asa over here last night. So she'll be here, too. But please, just don't make a mess. If you do, I'm not cleaning it up."

"No promises." She said, snorting. "You're taking this awfully well. Yesterday you were basically crapping your pants and now today you're careless. Did something happen?" She asked.

"No," I shrugged, although that was a lie. "I just learned to accept the fact that-" I stopped myself, remembering that Mason was here. -that Joe is the father, "that they're really here." I sighed. That was true.

"Well, believe it, sis." She said, standing up and going to the kitchen. She washed her bowl and put it on the drying rack. Our apartment doesn't have a dishwasher, so we have to clean the dishes manually. It doesn't suck, not unless you do them by yourself.

"Well, I'm going to go get ready and get some groceries. I notice we're running out of. . . everything."

"Yeah, the money's in the grocery jar. Don't spend too much, my boss isn't liking my coffee skills right now." I said, now getting up to wash my bowl. You see, we have three different jars that held money: Groceries, savings, and pizza deliveries. The third jar seems pretty unreasonable to other people, but if you live with us, we need money in that jar all the time.

I looked over at the square dining table and Mason was there, playing a game on his iPod 5, which he barely even uses. I sighed and left him to his game mode, and I went to go take a shower.

When I was done, I changed into a green blouse and the same ripped black skinny jeans that I wore when I went to the hotel. My phone buzzed, and I looked at the screen which was already illuminated.

From: My Ass(a)

Hey, I'm coming around late-ish 11:00. See you later bitch ;) x

I laughed quietly as I picked up my phone and replied.

To: My Ass(a)

See you then, asshat xx :)

I set down my phone on the counter by the sink. I grabbed my small makeup bag and grabbed out two things: mascara and eyeliner. I wasn't a big fan on the makeup, I just liked it plain and simple. I applied on the makeup with some lip balm since my lips are always chapped (it's the damn weather, thanks, Florida).

I didn't bother to do anything to my hair, since it would just dry straight. Although, later on I would probably put it up in a ponytail.

I checked the time, seeing that it was 10:50, so I decided to work on some summer work that I had. I threw my heavy backpack on the bed and sighed. I plopped down on the bed and put on my reading glasses. I opened my backpack and set my huge-ass anatomy textbook with it's notebook and started on some homework.

"Mom, Asa's here!" Mason yelled from the living room. I removed my glasses and rubbed my eyes, sighing. Anatomy was so stressful to study, mainly because it was about fucking everything in the human body.

"Hello," she walked in, sitting down at the foot of my bed. "Studying?" She was wearing a cotton light blue sweatshirt with gray leggings and her Nike's. I didn't really understand how she could wear that in the Florida heat, but I didn't mention it.
