We drove to mom's in three cars. I took Caspar, Oli, Joe, and Wallis in my car, while Alfie and Zoe went with Liana.

I purposely took the three boys and girl for two reasons. One reason is to get Joe away from Liana, so that she can have some breathing space away from him. The other reason is that I secretly wanted Caspar to ride with me.

No, I don't like Caspar in that way, if that is what you're wondering (but he is pretty cute). I wanted Caspar to ride with me because he has my sense of humor, and he picked to ride with me anyway.

We made it to mom's about 20 minutes later. My mom had a head start on dinner so it would be quicker when we were waiting.

Liana arrived just after I did. All of us were in the living room, chatting away when her, Mason, Alfie, and Zoe came in. I looked at Joe, who stopped talking to Oli, staring up at Liana. Mason ran straight upstairs, probably to Liana's room.

"Hey, guys." Zoe said as her and Alfie sat down on the couch. Liana sat on the floor right in front of me, leaning on my legs. By now, the living room was packed.

"Hello Zalfie, Liana." I said.

"Why hello there, Ms. Amara." She said in her accent.

"Do you guys want to watch some T.V.?" Liana asked, grabbing the remote from the table that was right in front of her.

"Yeah, I'm down." Wallis said, sitting next to her on the floor.

"Any requests?" She asks, turning on the T.V. Silence. "Netflix it is." She said, switching the video source. She turned on the Wii (A/N: yes, the first ever wii that came out in like 2007. i actually still have mine) and grabbed the remote controllers.

"Liana, put on Friends." I suggested, as she clicked Netflix on the Wii. Liana and I watch Friends all the time. It's kind of our go-to show.

"What episode?"

"Season 1, episode 1."

"Got it." She said as Netflix loaded up. It was in her recently watched, so she clicked it and scrolled all the way down to the first episode.

"Do you know what is it about?" I hear Caspar ask to Oli.

"Six best friends living in an apartment in New York. You'll love it, it's Liana and I's favorite T.V. show." I explained to him involuntarily. I could feel my cheeks turn red, for I just fucking embarrassed myself.

He wasn't even asking you, Amara!

"Oh, I've heard about this show, before." Wallis said as Liana loaded the episode. "Isn't this the show that Netflix uploaded with like, 10 seasons?" She asked. I nodded eagerly.

"Best 10 seasons of my life." Liana said, putting the remote down, leaning her head against my legs. Then the episode started to play. Season 1, Episode 1. Pilot.

Needless to say, Mason came back downstairs during one of the episodes. Liana had to cover his ears whenever someone cussed or said anything inappropriate,  but Mason didn't really care. All he cared about was Caspar's hair.

"You have fluffy hair. . ." Mason mumbled as he continued to play with Caspar's hair. "Mom says that I had fluffy hair, too. We could be brothers." I laughed slightly as Caspar looked my way. He smiled awkwardly but cutely at me. I forced myself to look away and watch the T.V.

"I need some water." Liana mumbled, leaning off of my legs. Wallis moved over to the side so Liana could move over her. She moved out successfully, and walked over to the kitchen. I saw Joe staring at her as she walked away, so I decided to follow her.

"Excuse me," I mumbled, stepping over Wallis. She ducked her head, and I thanked her quietly.

I met Liana at the refrigerator in the kitchen, where it smelt like absolute heaven. She was drinking some water, and I grabbed the water bottle and snapped it out of her hand. She started to choke, but she swallowed the water, coughing slightly.

"What the hell was that for?" Liana scolded me quietly, snatching her water from me.

"You've barely said one word to Joe."

"What do you expect?" She asked, sort of yelling but whispering. "I'm nervous as hell around him."

"Well, at least say something to him." I said, as if it were the obvious thing in the world.

"What do you want me to say, huh?" She asked in a scolding way. "He has only said one sentence to me this whole time." From the living room, I hear screeching of laughter. They must be enjoying Friends.

"I don't care, say like, 'Oh, how was Britain?' or 'Are you glad to be back?'" I exclaimed. "Little talk can lead to the fact that he's the father of your God damn son." I grabbed her arm and forced her to look in my eye. "Talk to him."

I let go and sort of shoved her to back in the direction of the living room. "Okay, okay!" She exclaimed, looking back at me, then heading back to where everyone was.

Liana and I had a funny relationship. Even though she was the older one by four years, I still managed to boss her around and tell her what to do. It was fun, but sometimes she can be a little bitch when she bossed me around. I turned around, and went to another hallway to use the bathroom when I bumped into Caspar. He seemed. . . weirded out.

"Oh, hello," he said nervously, "you." He punched my shoulder playfully. He seemed to be sweating.

"Uh, hi. What are you doing?"

"Do you know where the toilets are?"

"Down the hall, first door to your left." I told him, giving him a weird look. "Hey, are you sure you're okay?" I asked. "You're sweating." I stated, looking down at his shirt.

"I, uh-" He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He leaned closer to me near my left ear. "Joe is Mason's father?"

I closed my eyes and brought my hand to my head. "You fucking eavesdropped on us." I scolded at him, slapping him slightly. "Oh, God. This wasn't supposed to happen." I said, rubbing my temples.

"Hey, I didn't mean to. I wanted to go get you because I wanted to ask you where the bathroom was. Then I heard. . . that." He said nervously. I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards me, suddenly becoming dead serious. He looked troubled and slightly scared.

"Listen, you cannot tell anyone. You hear me?" I told him. "You tell anyone and I whoop your ass."

"Uh,"

"Okay?"

"Okay."

I pulled away and let go of his arm roughly. He started to smile at me, and I knew what he was thinking. He started to speak, "Maybe okay will be our-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence. I'm not into that cheesy shit." I warned him. I wasn't a fan of John Green, I'm sorry. It was too, mainstream, I guess.

"-always."
