After we finish eating we say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa and leave the town house for home. Home as in home not the farmhouse. We get back in the truck and head out of town the way we came through and I see a truck behind us in the distance. It's not like it's anything out of the ordinary so I just get on wattpad on my phone and start reading a 'Supernatural' fan fiction. I'm about to turn on my music when I hear Dad say, "Text your mom and tell her we're headed home." I reply with, "Ok, and if you want you can turn on your music." I feel bad because he always had to listen to mine so every once in a while I tell him that he can turn on the radio because I actually remembered my earbuds.

To Mommy: We're headed home from the farm.

Yes I still have my mom's name in my phone as mommy is that a crime. I don't care that I'm 14 she always has been and will be mommy.

From Mommy: Okay. Safe trip. Love you bunches!

I don't reply because this is her standard message and I go back to reading on my phone while listening to my favorites playlist. I'm completely focused on my book when I hear Dad speak up," Do you need to go to the bathroom. Or do you want any food or anything?" which is my signal that we're nearing Milan our halfway point, well not really but it's close enough considering it's the only town we can stop in if we need anything.

"No I'm good but thanks." I say looking up and see the same truck following us from earlier. "Hey Dad do you see that truck behind us?" I ask him.

"Yes why?"

"They've been following us since we left Grandma's."

"You're just overreacting. Those books have really gotten to your head."

"Dad, I'm serious."

"Seriously Josephine stop worrying."

"Don't believe me then, but if something happens just for the record I told you so."

"Nothings going to happen just go back to your book."

I do as I'm told and am soon entranced into the world of Supernatural. I must have fallen asleep because I wake up to see Dad shaking me. "We're home." he tells me.

I grab my phone and head  straight to the third floor to my en suite bathroom only stopping to take off my shoes and to say hi to my family. I leave Dad to unload the truck like we've always done. I turn on my music, strip, and get in the shower. I wash my hair and body, I then proceed to shave while listening to You're Perfect by Jacob Whitesides.

I get out and wrap a towel around myself, dry off and get dressed into my pj's. I then exit and walk back into my room which has plain white walls, a twin bed with a roll out underneath, closet, dresser, and a TV. As I sit down on my bed I call my best friend Evie. "Hey chica."

"What's up?"

"Just got home from the farm."

"How'd it go?"

"Well I got the upstairs bedrooms vacuumed, and the boys' bunk beds made. Swept and mopped the kitchen and dining room. I vacuumed all 7 couches, and cleaned all the bathrooms. And I made a list of ingredients for next week to have people sign up for. I also helped Dad put out hay, and helped with the cows. So how do you think it went?"

"Tired?"

"Always."

"So how many people are you gonna have?"

"Well there will at least be me, dad, Jake, Julianna, and Jasmine. Plus Justin, the cousin that Andrea dated, and his dad Jeffrey. Then I'll have my uncle on my mom's side, Jim, and his son, Bud. My Uncle Jack with his son, Jerry, and three grandkids, Jaden, Jordan, and Jarold. And I'm pretty sure that someone's going to come up with Justin and Jeffrey. I'm not for sure, but Jake might bring someone too. Which they will also stay with us, if they do bring someone. So that's what I'm doing next weekend. But Uncle Jim and Bud won't stay with us considering they only live half an hour away from Unionville "

"You have fun with that."

"You know I could use an extra hand to help me out up there." I say hoping she'll take the hint.

"I'll help but only because I love you."

"Thank you so much!"

"It's almost 11 we need to go to bed, see you in the morning."

"Goodnight," I say glancing at my clock noticing that she's right.
