The Farm Girl Meets The Alpha

Chapter 6

After dinner Jeremy left and Jake took Trey home, and Andrea and I convinced our parents to let her stay the night. We went upstairs and she took out some pajamas from her drawer. She got changed while I went to my bathroom to wash my face, and brush my teeth then we trade. I put my pj's on and crouch down beside my bed and pull the handle underneath it so the extra bed is out and she can sleep there. I hear her running the water in the sink through the bathroom door. "Andrea," I ask while climbing over her bed and into mine.

"Yeah?"

"When you get back in here I have something I need to ask you."

"Okay."

20 minutes later she comes back into the room and turns off the light and gets into the hideaway bed.

"What did you need to ask me about?"

"How do you know if you like someone?"

"Sometimes you can't get them out of your head, sometimes you are just really happy when they're around, and other times you just know." she yawns and I look at the time and see that it's almost 11 so I turn on my music and fall asleep shortly after.

In the morning around 6 Andrea's alarm clock goes off and I wake up to it. I reach down and shake her shoulder until she finally wakes up. "Did I not wake up again?"

"Nope."

"I don't know why but this is happening more and more lately."

"I don't know either, but get up I have to put the bed back."

"Okay," she says while going back to her drawer and grabbing a pair of jeans and a shirt. I close my eyes for a couple of seconds then roll and I wait for the drop onto her bed and climb off. At this exact moment my phone decides to go off.

After putting the bed back under I look at my phone and see I have a text from my brother saying that he can take us to school today. I text him back to let him know I got the message.

I grab one of my nicer t-shirts and jeans, and then Andrea and I go into the bathroom and we share the sink to brush our teeth. I remember to text Ryan and tell him that I won't be on the bus, and see that I have more time than usual so I decide to put more than just my standard amount of makeup on. When I'm done with that I ask Andrea if she is done, she nods in response so then we grab our bags and go downstairs to find my brother.

When we get downstairs I yell, "Jake where are you? We're ready to leave."

I'm about ready to just walk out the door when I see a figure coming from the kitchen, "He didn't tell you did he?"

"Jeremy? Is that you?" I ask in a surprised voice.

"The one and only." He replies with a cocky grin.

"So why are you here?"

"Your brother called me and said that you needed a ride to school."

"He was supposed to take us." Andrea says with a frown.

I take a mental note to ask about that later. "Okay so why'd he call you?"

"He told me to take you guys to school because you were taking too long."

"Sorry about that but if you don't want to deal with us I'm sure we can find another ride to school."

"That won't be necessary."

"Are you sure because I can always call one of my friends?"

"Yes, Josephine, I'm sure. Now quit worrying and get in the car."
