On Thursday the school day moved along at a snail's pace because I was worried about how we'll all get to the farm for the weekend. There's going to be 9 just from us alone, and not to mention what time we'll even get there. As I walk out of my last class of the day I don't see Jeremy waiting for me. I should feel relieved, after all it's what I wanted right? But as I look around again and see that I didn't just miss him, I feel really sad. I mean I know that I don't want him getting close, so what is wrong with me?

I walk to my locker and see that Evie's standing there looking at a note taped to it. I'm curious so I walk faster and sure enough it's from him.

Sorry for what I did, but I'll still see you tonight at dinner. ~J

It's not his fault but he won't believe that he didn't anything wrong. Evie and I run to catch the bus and find out that Amy and Mark are riding it too. I feel bad because I haven't hung out with them and they're living in my house so I say hi. They stare at me for a few seconds then Mark says hello back with a big smile.

"I'm sorry I haven't really talked to you guys yet. I have a close group of friends and it's hard to talk to people outside of it. Oh, and I'm sorry that you don't have new clothes. My friend Jeremy was going to take me to the city to get you guys a couple of things, but... never mind it's a long story." I say trailing off at the end.

"It's okay don't worry about us, but you can finish your story if you want. I promise I'll listen." Amy says with a gentle voice.

"Wow, okay. Um... he said something and brought back old memories so I ran to my room crying then he came and held me until I stopped. But either way I am really sorry. I'll make it up to you, I pinky swear."

After we got off the bus we went to the common room on my floor. Amy and Mark picked out the first Agent Cody Banks movie and we all sat around the TV and watched it. I didn't have to worry about meeting Jasmine at the door today though because Julianna had the day off and she picked her up from school. The credits just started rolling as Jeremy and Jake appear in the doorway. "Dinner's ready." Jake announces and we all go downstairs.

Dinner was really quiet tonight. The only sound you could hear was forks scraping against plates, because we had my mom's famous spaghetti. After I finished my dinner I pushed out of my chair between Evie and Jasmine and took our plates to the kitchen. I had just placed the dishes on the counter so I could open the dishwasher when I hear a voice ask, "So what's up with you and that Jeremy guy?"

I turn around, see Amy and say, "He moved in with some of his family a couple days before you guys came to stay with us."

"C'mon there's got to be more to it than that."

"Why does there have to be more?"

"When you talked about him you looked happy and then you looked sad. Like you have mixed feelings about him."

"That's because I do have mixed feelings."

"How so?"

"Well whenever I first met him I thought he was really cool, okay more than that actually. Then the next day he stayed home with me when I got a really bad headache. I really really liked him after he made me lunch that day. That was also the day that you guys came, we were going to go to the city so I could pick some stuff out for you and Mark to feel more at home. But then he said something and it rehashed some old memories, and I decided that I really didn't need him to bring those back up. So I've been avoiding him since yesterday, but then today when he wasn't waiting outside of my class to bring me home I felt really sad. I do know that it's my fault that he wasn't there because of how I've been treating him, and then I saw the note on my locker. He said he was sorry for what he did, but he hasn't done anything. Even when I was mad I still defended him to Andrea. I have no idea what I'm doing anymore." I don't know why but just like with Jeremy I instantly feel that I can trust her.
