After we got the room ready for the foster girl I called my mom back. "Hey, how old are they?"

"The girl is you're age and the boy is right around your brother's age."

"Do you know what they like yet?"

"The girl, her name is Amy. She's actually into most of the same stuff as you. The only difference is that she likes to wear cute clothes. And the boy, his name is Mark. He's into Fast and The Furious, and superheroes. So you have something in common with both of them."

"Okay. Would it be alright, if I ask Jeremy, and that is if he agrees, can go into the city and find them some new clothes and stuff like that? What are their sizes?"

"Well, I don't see why not. Do you know where the credit card we keep at the house is? Amy is a size 7 waist and small for her shirts, and Mark is about the same size as Jeremy so just have him try on stuff."

"Thanks and yes, I know where the card is. How much is my limit?"

"Let's go about $150 to $200 for each of them."

"Do you know what time you're going to get home with them?"

"Around 8, I don't get off work until 6 and then we have all the paperwork to do."

"Okay, bye mom see you soon."

I go into the kitchen where I find Jeremy finally making his lunch. I can't imagine how hungry he is, I mean it is almost three. Before I even open my mouth he said, "After I eat we can leave."

"You heard me on the phone didn't you? Sorry for volunteering you like that but I don't think I have clothes that will fit her or be her style."

"What do you mean?"

"Well my mom told me Amy's style and she prefers cute clothes, and her size which is also smaller than me. So I can't lend her mine."

In response to what I said he turned around and looked me up and down, but not in a sexual way. It's not like how most guys would check a girl out, you know like stopping and staring at places, he just looked calculating. "Would you quit saying stuff like that," he asks as he comes to stand in front of me.

"Stuff like what," I ask, I wanted my voice to be louder than normal but instead it came out as a whisper.

"Stuff that's degrading. 'Just because I'm only 5'3" doesn't mean I'm light.' and 'I can't lend her mine.'" He replies using my earlier words against me.

"Why? I'm just stating a fact."

"You are more than just your weight and size, and it just so happens that I like your style. You don't have to spend an hour getting ready to go out, if anything it take you 30 minutes at the maximum, so just stop talking like that. Please?" His voice goes quiet at the end, almost breaking.

Not knowing what to say I just nod my head, and look at the floor. He gently tucks his finger under my chin and slowly lifts it up. We stare in into each other's eyes before the timer goes off and the moment is ruined.

I jump away from him and race up the stairs to my room. This can't be happening, not again. I grab my phone and turn on Priceless.

I plop down onto my bed and grab one of pillows and hold onto it when I hear a knock on the door a couple of minutes later. I look up and see Jeremy standing by my door. I nod my head in his direction and he comes and sits next to me. "What's wrong? Did I do something?"

I shake my head, place my pillow back on the bed and lean into him. I wrap my arms around his back and he holds onto me like he's afraid I'm going to break.

I don't know how long we sat there but I do know that whenever I lean away from him as he slides his hands away he leaves a trail of fire. "I don't think we're going to make it to the city today," I say with a little laugh breaking the silence.

"You're probably right," he says just as I hear the garage doors go up. I grab his hand and he follows me running down the stairs.

We ran down the stairs and opened the back door and saw Jasmine getting ready to open it. Once she realizes who it is she smiles and darts in to give me a hug, or so I thought, instead she goes to Jeremy. As I watch them I find myself smiling. I guess it's because he's so gentle with her.

"What are we doing today Aunt Jo," she asks turning around and looking at me.

"I don't know, do you want to pick?"

"No that's okay, we can let Jeremy pick then."

We both look at him expectantly and his eyes widen. Once they're back to his normal size, he finally asks,"Do you have any 'Friday the 13th' movies?"

I don't even answer his question but my face lights up with a grin as I race to my room to grab the latest one with Jared Padalecki in it. As I come back into the common room again I see Jeremy and Jasmine in a whisper conversation. I clear my throat and then proceed to put the movie in the Blu-ray player.

My sister comes home a little bit later and we're at the part where the guys are playing beer pong outside. She walks into the room looks at us then the TV and sits down on the couch with me. She could never resist a good horror movie. At one of the scarier parts I jump a little as Julianna screams bloody murder in my ear, I guess she forgot about it, and I hear feet pounding up the stairs. Jake races into the room with a guy and girl I don't know. As I realize who they are I look at the clock on the wall and see that it's only 6:28. "Hey guys," I greet them, "Want to finish the movie with us?"

"Sure," said Mark and the brother and sister pair take the only remaining couch (Jasmine is sitting with Jeremy again). Jake hesitates and then finally decides to sit on the floor and watch it too. This is one of the rare moments that I love, my family all together just enjoying being together.

Our movie ended and we voted and ended up watching 'She's The Man' next. We'd been watching it for a while and mom comes upstairs to tell us that supper is done, but instead she turns around. A couple minutes later her and dad come into the room carrying the pots and pans that mom made supper with, plus plates and silverware.

Everyone looks really confused until I notice what we're doing. I hit pause on the remote and help them set the stuff down on the coffee table, and everyone forms a line to get their food. After everyone got resettled so everyone was on a couch. Jasmine, Juliana and I on the left of the 'U'. Mom, dad, and Jake on the middle couch. While Amy, Mark, and Jeremy took the right couch. We hit play and finish the movie.
