I finished eating and then we went to the store and by the time we got to the farmhouse there were four other vehicles pulling into the driveway along with Jeremy's impala and Justin's ford truck. Jeremy pulls into the driveway first so I go and open up the car garage and all the cars start to file in.

I see everyone try to navigate through the maze of cars after they climbed out and grabbed their stuff. When everyone finally makes it to the door we go outside and dad locks it up. I get hugs from my cousin Jaden, and she asks, "Did you dye your hair?" I nod my head slowly considering I didn't think that she would be able to notice. I dyed it last month to the auburn color.

"What movie did you bring," I ask her.

"Ghost Rider."

"Yay! I haven't seen that movie in forever!" I'm so excited that I wrap her in a hug again.

"So how's your love life going?" she asks and I immediately let go of her, "That's what I thought," she says laughing.

"Hey," I reply with a glare, "but on another note you better make sure that a girl brings home the first deer tomorrow. We can't let Justin win again."

"You think I'm going to let him or Jordan do that? You should know me better than that by now. Let's go start the movies."

Everyone has put their stuff in the rooms and all the adults are downstairs except for Juliana but she's always welcome to stay up here, besides with her being as strict as she is about bedtime she immediately made Jordan help his little brother, Jarold, take a bath in the boys' room while Julianna gave Jasmine one and after they got out they went straight to sleep.

Everyone brushed their teeth and changed into their pj's and I only have the ones left in my dresser up here and that just happens to be a pair of neon pink shorts with a black tank top. Lucky me...not, please save me.

After everyone's ready we have to figure out how we're sleeping. Since foster kids aren't allowed to share beds with anyone Amy and Mark take the two couches that are across from each other, and I suggest that Evie take the other one. I lay down in the middle of the queen mattress lying in the middle of the three couches. It's always been my spot for movie night and I'm not going to give it up now.

Right after I lay down Justin climbs in to my right. He knows by know that he's my pillow for these things. I think I hear a low growl, but I ignore it as my imagination. Then Jeremy lays down to my left. Jordan lays next to Justin and then Jaden lays down beside her brother on the end of the mattress. Jake lays down on the edge beside Jeremy and near the couch Mark is laying on because they're talking about something. "Now that we're all situated who is going to get up and put the DVDs in for us to watch them because it ain't gonna be me," I ask.

"I will if it means that I can pick the first movie," Jaden responds as she starts climbing off of the mattress.

"Works for me and make sure to turn off the lights," I say turning to lay on my right side and start using Justin as a pillow.

Movie night was good, we watched at least three movies before I fell asleep, and when I wake up I'm the only one left on the mattress. Since this is the first weekend a group of people make breakfast for hunters at the American Legion building, so I didn't have to wake up early or stay up late which is normally easier. I stretch and open my eyes and see that Amy, and Evie are the only two still here with me. I climb out of bed and go look at the room that my sister slept in with the little kids.

I walk into the room and don't even need to turn on a light because it's almost 9 (I looked at the clock on the wall). I see that all three are gone which means the little ones went hunting too. I go back into the living room and attempt to wake up Evie first it doesn't work very well until I tell her not to make me get the water bucket then she happily complies. I go over to Amy and tap her shoulder and immediately her hand grasps my wrist and her eyes snap open. "Heh heh, sorry Josephine," she says with a grimace.

"It's fine I should have said something, but right now we need to take showers and get dressed and all that jazz."

"How are we supposed to do that all at the same time," Amy asks.

"There's a bathroom with a shower and bathtub in both of the bedrooms up here, and I thought I could brush my hair and my teeth and whoever gets out of the shower first I'll go in there, but we have to be done in 30 minutes. They will be back here at noon and we have to make lunch. Oh, and remember that it's a rule that you don't have to look good at the farmhouse and the guys can't say anything."

"I'll take the guys' room then," Amy says.

30 minutes later we're all out of the shower and dressed but we still have damp hair. We go downstairs into my kitchen and I give orders as to how to prepare the different types of chilli. I start preparing at least three dozen cinnamon rolls (one dozen per oven), and drag the crackers out of their cabinet. After I get the crackers out I have them help me find four good sized pots. Once they do I get out five gallons of milk that I picked up last night, and put milk in each of the pots.

I still have some milk left over and I go to place the milk in the fridge when I hear another wolf howling, "Geeze their terrible out here this weekend," I say looking at the other two and I notice that Amy stopped what she was doing and went a little pale. "You okay Amy?"

"Yeah," she says clearing her throat then smiling at me, "Yeah I'm fine."

We hear the cars pulling up and I take the pots of hot chocolate off the stove (three white chocolate and one milk chocolate) and add the finishing touches when everyone piles through the door with dirty boots onto my floor. I glare and place my hands on my hips, and most of them know exactly what I'm mad about so they turn back around and go to the porch and take their boots off.

I get a bunch of plates and bowls and put them on the counter, then I get out spoons. They form a line next to the utensils and start grabbing them and heading towards the chilli as I slide a pot of white hot chocolate and the milk hot chocolate down to where I keep the mugs at. Justin grabs the three things of whipped cream out of the fridge as I grab the peppermint shavings, and the ladle out of the drawers that I keep them in. Everyone goes to the dining room to put their plates on the table and then make a bee-line to the master bedroom to strip.

When they're finally ready for the hot cocoa they come back and I go through the process of filling each and every mug and putting the toppings on. I get the chefs' done and we fix our plates then go join everyone in the dining room, where there are exactly three chairs open. There's one next to Mark and Jaden which Amy takes, another one next to Justin and Jake which Evie takes. I get the last remaining chair which is on between my favorite Uncle, and yep you guessed it, Jeremy.

After everyone's done eating, Justin goes around and picks up most of the plates and Jake picks up the rest. "I still have hot chocolate left. First come first serve," I say and notice almost everyone jumping out of their chairs.

I fill up more mugs then put the leftover chilli in the fridge and start the dishwasher. "Do you not like hunting," Amy asks me.

"Ya I like hunting, why?"

"Well then why don't you?"

"Well my grandma used to cook lunch and everything for us but then she and my grandpa moved to town so someone had to stay and cook. It gets really expensive to get pizza every weekend and after a while it doesn't taste that great either."

"But you don't have to cook supper tonight right? So why aren't you going?"

"I just don't want to leave you and Evie here with nothing to do plus after the dishes are done I have to put them up, and I have to feed the cows and do all that stuff."

"They obviously don't go back out right after lunch considering most of them are napping so you can go feed the cows now. Either way we can put up the dishes, I mean you do have a chart over there on the wall showing where everything goes. And we can watch TV if we get bored. So you're going hunting."

"Thanks," I say running up to her and getting a hug. "Guess I better go get dressed then huh," I say as I start to run up the stairs to the bedroom.

"Where are you going," Justin calls out to me.

"To get dressed."

"You mean you're going out today," he asks with a grin.

"Yep," I giggle as I climb up the stairs.
