Under The Red Hood

Scynthia's PoV

"Little Red Riding Hood? Who is that?" Tanong ko. "You don't know her!? She's basically the stronggest fighter I know!" Sabi niya.

"Oh, why is she named like that? It seems childish?" Tanong ko para mas magmukhang hindi ko talaga kilala. "She's named like that because she wears her signature Red Hood and mask, altho no one knows why she wears a hood. And come to think of it January I saw you with her before." Sabi ni Nash sabay harap kay January.

She stiffed in her seat obvious she was shocked. "What? When?" Tanong niya. "Three days ago, near the Round House Gang Headquarters." Sabi ni Nash.

Her eyes widened. "Oh that, she saved me because I was kidnaped by them, no biggie." Sabi niya. "And as I remembered magkapareho kayo Rose na mayroong sugat sa pisngi." Sabi ni Nash sabay turo sa benda sa mukha ko.

"Wow, that's weird." Sabi ko, I was actually sweating due to my uneasiness. "I know right." Sabi niya.

"Oh by the way Charles, are you going to try out for the school's basketball varsity team?" Ice changed the topic, he knows how uneasy I am. "Yes I am, later this dissmissal time." Charles took the bait.

I was so relieved when the bell rang, that was the most awkward situation I ever had with! So awkward!

The classes went off normally until dissmissal, I went home early because the gang was busy, Ice and Kendal with the Basketball Try outs, Lex with her dad, and January was getting ready for her family dinner later, and I was left alone to go home and chillax.

When I arrived at home I found my dad and mom kissing by the sofa, that made me remember the day I saw my dad kissing another girl, I mentaly puked then just went straight to the stairs when they called my attention.

"Scynthia Dear." I heard mom say it. "Yeah mom?" I asked.

"Tomorrow we will have lunch with our companies clients and share holders and I want you and Jaime to come along." Sabi ni mom. "Okay mom." I said walking up to my room.

Urgh a whole saturday sitting there slowly dying of boredom listening to business talk... what a great start of the weekend right?

I was silently sitting in the backseat with Jaime while my dad was driving with mom in the shot gun seat talking about something. I was just looking out the window when I got a text.

From: Q.B January

Red! Where are you going today?

I was about to reply when I recieved another text message.

From: B.S Kendal

Are you going somewhere tonight Red?

This is weird... then another text came...

From: J.F Ice

You going somewhere with your family today Red?

I think I know what's going on here...

From: T.M Lex

You going to **** restaurant?

And with that I confirmed... before I could even reply to any of it we arrived, when we entered the first people I saw was the gang and then a bunch of different people. The whole restaurant was closed just for us.

"Hey Rose." Sabi ni Kendal nung nakalapit silang lahat saakin. "Hey guys." I said with a grin.

"Rose, Charles is also here." Sabi ni Ice. "Oh, really?" Tanong ko.

"Yup! Hinahanap ka niya, may sasabihin raw sayo." Sabi ni January. "Talaga? Ano?" Bago pa sila makapagsalita ulit tinawag na kami ng mga magulang namin.

My dad started talking about stuff and business that I had no intention on listening to when I heard my name. "My daughter Scynthia Rose Orelio along with Charles Ignacio Santiago Jr." They clapped and I had no Idea how my name got in there.

I was called to go up, I had a confused look on my face when I got up the little stage. "Charles anong meron?" Tanong ko. "Hindi ka nakinig?" Tanong niya.

"Kaya nga ako nagtanong kasi hindi ako nakinig eh." I said rolling my eyes. "Well they are celebrating the merge of our two companies and our arrange marriage." Sabi niya.

"Oh, kaya pala--- wait what? Ikakasal tayo!?" Bakit hindi ko ito alam? "Yes, hindi ba nasabi sayo?" Tanong ni Nash.

"Magrereact ba ako ng ganito kung alam ko?" I sarcastically said. "Whatever." He rolled his eyes.

This is not happening! Bakit ako!? Among all the people, why me!? This is so unfair! I don't get any free will!?

Wala na akong nagawa kasi kung magreklamo ako wala naman akong mapapala doon, might as well be happy at least kahit papaano kilala ko siya at alam ko kaya akong ipagtanggol. I just can't get the fact that I wasn't told about this. I just hate it.

"Paano yan Kendal, wala ka nang chance kay Rose." Sabi ni Ice. "Well it was fun while it lasted." Kendal said shrugging.

We were here at our house, chilling my the balcony at kasama ngayon si Nash, nasa baba kasi mga magulang niya kasama parents ko.

"May gusto ka kay Rose, Kendal?" Tanong ni Nash. "Nope, I was dared to act like her boyfriend, okay Ignacio?" Sabi ni Kendal.

"Don't call me that." Sabi ni Nash, Kendal raised his hands in defeat. "Okay." Sabi niya.

"Ang tahimik mo ata ngayon Rose." Sabi ni January. "Just thinking why my parents didn't tell me." Sabi ko.

"Baka kasi magbeast mode ka kapag malaman mo yung totoo." Sabi ni January. "Okay lang saakin na siya kasi kahit papaano kilala ko, pero yung iniisip ko bakit hindi nila sinabi." Paliwanag ko.

"We will never know." Sabi ni Kendal. "Okay bahala na yan." Sabi ko.

Wala na nga akong magagawa... tapos na eh...
