Sparkles*X Reader - Tea and Toast - Song Fic

A girl with (H/C) and bright blue eyes walked up on stage holding a guitar with stickers coving it such as stickers with electronic eyes and flower shapes.

"Hello everyone I'm Madalyn and I'm going to be singing a song I wrote about an actual couple I know so...enjoy..."

Tom was born in 1942
With eyes of blue
And the doctors said
That his birth was far too fast

Tom Clarke born on March 17, 1942 (PRETEND) with his fathers hair and his mothers eyes but the birth wasn't over yet...

His heart stopped twice
But yet he survived
As he took his first breath
His mother took her last

Although he was a miracle, in his fathers eyes he took away a life within seconds. His mother gave up her life so Tom could be born and yet because of this he'd grow up without a mother. 

And his father knew that he wasn't to blame
But he never quite looked at Tom the same
After that

Although his father never looked at him the same, whenever he looked in his eyes he saw Tom's mothers eyes. He knew he shouldn't judge Tom for being born but he did miss he wife loads since she was the love of his life...

And he rarely spoke about her
But when he did
He said, "Your mother used to say this
"When the skies are looking bad my dear
And your heart's lost all its hope
After dawn there will be sunshine
And all the dust will go
The skies will clear my darling
I'll wake up with the one I love the most
And in the morning, I'll make you up
Some tea and toast."

That was Tom's mothers way of say to not to worry about life even when the cloud turn dark and you feel trapped to never worry. When Tom first heard what his mother used to say he never forgotten it and swore that one day he'd tell his own children in hope that they'd tell their children and, so on for generations.

Well, they met through a friend
Who introduced them
And the first thing Tom said was, "Would you like to dance?"

Tom went to a party with his friends and fellow band mates and Leo introduced him to (Y/N). (Y/N) was a (body size eg- short, slender) girl who glowed under the disco light. He instantly fell in love...

They moved with each other
And when the music got slower
He said, "Don't let go of my hand."
He said, "It's only polite if I ask you tonight
Would it be alright, if I could walk you home?"

As if it was destiny she agreed to Tom walking her home without a second thought amd they got along quickly . Even before they walked a block.

That night he told her of his birth
And he said when it hurt
He thought about what his mother said about tea and toast

When he told her about what his mother used to say and she was instantly interested with it.

Well, two quick years went by
They were side by side
And without a plan they conceived a little child
He said, "Woman, I love you and this you know
But I only earn enough for our food and clothes
But I love you and this baby until the day that I die."

Tom didn't get lot from the bands as they weren't particularly noticed by a lot of people but he knew no matter what happens he would love bot (Y/N) and the new life within her till the day that he dies and there was no denying it 

She said, "We'll take care of this little life
And we'll fall in love with her baby blue eyes
And we'll be alright from some advice that I know."
She said, "I never got to meet her
But if I did, I'm sure your mother would have said this
"When the skies are looking bad my dear
And your heart's lost all its hope
After dawn there will be sunshine
And all the dust will go
The skies will clear my darling
We'll show this baby all the love we know
And in the morning, I'll make you up
Some tea and toast."

Well, he took those words
And he made them proud
He worked day after day
And hour after hour
So that they could buy a little house just on the outside of town

Tom got a side job as an editor for a gaming company called the Yogscast and he enjoyed it to the fullest due to meeting new friends and earning more money for his family which he'd raise no matter how tough it was he knew he could do it.

Months after they could afford that little house and they had a child with bright blue eyes and long (H/C). They chose to call their first child Madalyn .

Their little girl grew up and so did they
They said that they loved each other everyday
And forty years later, that brings us to now
And as they're walking down the street
Her grip loosens on his hand
He puts his arm around her side as she falls to the ground

Tom knew that she was dying because they were getting old and their health wasn't as good as when they were younger. He finally felt afraid....

He hears her breathing and that's the only sound
Her body on the floor attracts a worried crowd
Tears rolls off his face as he says, "Don't let go, now."
And he's sitting by her bed in the hospital ward
Then their daughter walks in with a family of her own

Madalyn grew up and became a mother to two children. A girl called Alice as their eldest and a little boy who was a matching image of Tom. His bright ginger hair, big, blue, sparkling eyes and a cheeky grin when he was around his family but goes all shy when he's around people he's not used to.

Madalyn sat next to Tom who was holding (Y/N)'s hand gently caressing the back of it lovingly. Madalyn carefully held onto her dads hand knowing the struggle he was going through along with her and he simply just smiled at her.

She says, "Dad, I don't know if she can hear you now
But there's one thing mum would want you to know."
"When the skies are looking bad my dear
And your heart's lost all its hope
After dawn there will be sunshine
And all the dust will go
Skies will clear my darling
Now it's time for you to let go
Our girl will wake you up in the mornin' with some tea and toast."
