So many things happened the day he asked me to go see a movie with him... Most of that day consisted of him actually... The first thing I remember of Duncan that day was him greeting me when he came into work...
It was still early in the day but I had work to do. An editors job is never finished I guess, hence why Sam asked me to come in early with him. We walked into the building, talking amongst ourselves, greeting those few people who were in early such as other editors, Lewis, Sjin and a few others. Then as me and Sam were signing in on the book - which is used in case of a fire drill- Duncan leaned over me to sign in also which trapped me. We were close friends so it didn't make me uncomfortable or anything.

"(Y/N)?" A soft whisper spoke in my ear as I began to shuffle, trying to wake myself up," You awake?"
I rolled over to face him as he softly smiled down at me entwining his own hand with mine.

"Happy anniversary ," He whispered, kissing my cheek afterwards as I sat up rubbing my eyes due to being still half asleep," You know how we agreed on not getting each other anything today?" I nodded my head as he continued," We I may of had my fingers crossed because I had been planning this day before the agreement"
"Jerk," I mumbled, sighing deeply as he began to rub my back.
"Get ready sweetheart, He chuckled," We're going on a date"
He left the room ,giving me some privacy although we have seen each other get dressed before... well Duncan's seen me get dressed a bunch of times due to accidentally walking in or being the peeping tom he is... caught him the one time, never seen him so red and quiet.

Before Duncan fully left, I heard the sound of cloth meeting cloth. When I finally looked up was when I heard the door shut closed and on the bed lay a dress Duncan must've lay out for me.
