Christmas was that time of year when everybody gets together as a family or a group of friends. It's beautiful.

However for others who are alone at Christmas it's doesn't bother them unless they're in love but don't have that special somebody to spend Christmas with.

(Y/N) and Duncan are one of those people ho are madly in love with each other but aren't spending it with each other. No they're not together it's just one is those special times when two people secretly have a crush on each other for pretty similar reasons.

Both of them sat there feeling completely alone then as if it was a message from God the both got the same idea.

Duncan quickly jumped up from his chair and put on his coat suddenly running outside just shutting the door- not bothering to lock it. (Y/N) on the other hand jumped up from her sofa , turned off the tv,  Although she was just in her pajamas she quickly put on her coat and boots , locking the door behind her she ran. Ran the way her heart told her too. Both of them doing the same thing... Following their hearts.

The only thing which would make these two happy is just being in each other's prescience . That's the only thing which lol make them smile.

And all the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing

As the two ran they passed the shining lights of Christmas decorations on different buildings for different uses. They passed carol singers singing their beautiful melodies . They passed small children laughing away as they had snowball fights or just having fun in general. They passed all off this and too them it seemed that the only thing that mattered was where their heart was taking them.

Panting they saw each other just meters away. Calmly they walked to each other as they each felt their heart trying to escape from their chest . This is all they wanted for Christmas. To be together and to be happy together. No arguments, no fights just to be with each other.

"Hi"Duncan whispered do only (Y/N) could hear. He didn't care that she was in her pajamas because he only wanted to see her beautiful face.

"Hi"She replied with a smile. (Y/N) only wanted the same thing as Duncan and they were positive they would get what they wanted.

They walked closer so they were just centimeters apart. Duncan put his arms around her waist as she placed hers around his neck.

Slowly the space between the two was closed as they kissed. Their hearts was beating faster than ever and they knew that this love was meant to be.
