Rythian X Reader- Quiet Whisper

For Jackson_Williams_ - Once again didn't let me tag you so I apologise >-<

Promises are meant to be kept. The same goes to hearts. But you know why always happens in the end? They break.

I turned to Rythian. By god that man was beautiful but he confused me sometimes.

Five long years I've stayed by him, made and kept promises, married and even moved out of my own home to be by his side. I couldn't give him up... He was my everything.

Sure we've had our fuck ups but some of them killed a part of me. Most of them are broken promises.

He promised to take care of me: he kept that. He promised to someday marry me: he kept that. He promised that it was all okay: he lied. He promised that he loved me: I don't even know what happened to that promise.

Some days he'd stay in the house with me and either completely blank me saying he's busy or spoil me rotten in one way or another. Other days he was never there, he'd go on these so called big adventures with his friends I've never met and wouldn't come back for weeks or months . He'd go out for a few hours sometimes and come back smelling of alcohol... I'm beginning to give up on him...

"(Y/N)?!" His voice called out as I sat in the room we called a kitchen, on a wooden chair debating whether I should say everything I needed to say to him or not,"You home?!"

I didn't answer. I sat there lost in my own mind until I felt a soft pair of hands wrap around me," You had me worried for a second... I thought you ran off and left me"

To be honest that sounded like a good plan but I'm not prepared to do that. Not in the state I'm in.

"How was it?"I said in barely a whisper, staring down at the empty cup before me as he sat on the chair opposite me, placing his rucksack on the table.

"You wouldn't believe how amazing it was. There were guardians everywhere," He began his oh so amazing story in an exited tone," A sunken ship. I'll tell you this it was the biggest ship I've seen in my whole existence. I lost Teep ad Zoey at one point but-"

"Who's Teep and Zoey?"

He's never mentioned these two before...

Rythian froze, looking at me confused,"Have I never told you about them?"

"Besides the facts that you always talk about these big adventures with you friends whenever your around me," I stood up , surprising Rythian with my snarky comment," No"

I walked out, walking to the other room we called our living room... This whole house was a shit hole...

"(Y/N). What's the matter with you" Rythian followed me seemingly calm, as he rubbed by shoulders but I just pushed him away.

"What's wrong with me?" I said with a shaky breath, turning to face him with a look of disappointment on my face," What's wrong with me is that you've been one for two months, that you go on these journeys all the time and never once use you asked me to go with you, that I'm left in this shit hole of a house constantly and that the last time you touched me before leaving on this journey was two months"

He never touched me in those two month edits the journey. Not a single kiss or a hand touch... Nothing.

"(Y/N) you know I'm doing this for your safety," He approached me and I could see the anger slowly rising in his eyes.
