A whole week had went by since the incident yet no progress was made which had several reasons behind. The main one being that the reversible chemical reaction made before the incident was made directly for the dog and not human subjects so there was a chance that Lewis could turn into a wolf. Duncan was also helping and it took three days to get in contact with him but as soon as he received the news, he placed a portal in Yoglabs so he could travel quickly from his personal lab out in the middle of nowhere to Yoglabs within seconds.

Lewis on the other hand seemed completely unaware of the situation and there's the possibility the sudden change in his body damaged some of his brain as he hasn't attempted to talk since along with the fact that he walks around with a slouch and when we don't need him to move he's either crouching, sitting or laying on the floor which shows the likeliness of a cat showing that in a way the experiment did work but just on the wrong being.

"Maybe if we find a way to reduce the amount of calcium we could lessen the effects and slow down the changing process in Lewis' body?" Duncan suggested as he scribbled onto his clipboard obviously bored over the whole situation, "We could also attempt to low the carbon as it's increased to 20.7 which is 2.2 percent higher than the average humans body"

"And how do you suggest we do that Mr. Jones," The scientist who witnessed the whole scenario with Lewis was also here and quite clearly had a strong disliking towards Duncan which is why these meetings were cut short due to some sudden argument, "Lowering anything at the current moment would be a great risk to him and it could go one of two ways"

"I can assure you it won't kill him but make him ill for a few days ," Duncan sighed as I yet again awkwardly sat there.

"Yes it'll make him severely ill and could lead to him dying," The scientist snapped back at Duncan.

The faint hissing of the automatic door behind us made us all divert our attention to it. We were greeted with two guards and a Lewis slouched in front of them with a energetic look in his eyes. He quietly scanned us all until his eyes landed on me, in which he then proceeded to approach me his eyes suddenly dropping and his blinks becoming more slower than usual.

"We found him positioned outside of room 2489, he seemed to be clawing at the door," One of the guards spoke up as I realised that he was 'clawing' at my door.

I slowly turned my head to Duncan as Lewis suddenly decided to sit on the floor with his head perched upon my legs, looking up to me in a tiered way, " Is that normal cat behaviour ?"

Duncan's eyes were narrowed at Lewis but as I began looking at him he turned away from Lewis with a even more sour look on his face.

Duncan was only like this because we used to be a thing in the past but it didn't work out. Unfortunately there's still that's spark for him but not for me, not anymore anyways. Duncan thankfully understood how I felt and decided to not let that bring him down and to continue his everyday life with us only being friends but every so often you can still spot the hint of jealously in his eyes.

Duncan sighed as he looked at the white board of all the ideas of how to reverse Lewis' problem, "Scartching at a door usually means that the cat is after attention, well that's what I found out with Tiddles any ways but the slow blinking," Duncan paused for a moment as if thinking what to say about the subject, "The blinking is nothing important"

A few nights later brings me to now, lying in bed with thousands of thoughts running through my head as the sound of thunder echoes throughout Yoglabs.

Lewis was still part cat and the only thing we managed to do was find a way to slow down the changes Lewis was facing which was causing him immense pain - the claws were the worst, lasted two whole days of him clawing at things he shouldn't be.
