Zylus X Reader [5]

Requested by @Fenris22 - A short one but it was lovely to write also if this is Nathan trying to read dont you dare but go to the end :)

Prompt 5- 'I think I'm in love with you and it scares the crap out of me'

Zylus in the end decided than he was gonna stay at Yogtowers more than he intended at first .

He adored being around his friends when helping out with a livestream and being able to see the people he cared about most . Even if he hadn't met the whole team yet as he hadn't fully discovered the editors office and still every so often needs directions to a certain members office . He loved it nonetheless.

And here he goes yet again , looking around the building as to become more familiar with it.

Zylus knew the previous office like the back of his hand having went there many times before but the new one just made him go blank and confused, dazed and lost. The building itself was nice and welcoming it is just something he needed to get the hand of first .

No, he didn't know where he was going, he got lost after passing by the hat lads office and turned down a smaller corridor. He'd find his way back eventually it wasn't exactly a mansion with a thousand doors to get lost within.

This is when he discovered a new room he had never seen before. The editors office.

Only a few of the editors had stayed behind that night so he wasn't alone in the room.

"Sorry mate," Sam apologised as he bumped into the Dutch friend of his in an attempt to enter the room without making an entrance .

Zylus quietly watched as Sam approached Jane and another staff member he had never met before. They had to of been new as he had never seen the person in his life. Well, not until now at this exact very moment.

Zylus watched her for a moment, she was pretty, a female who seemed around his age perhaps just that small bit younger than him. She looked happy, turning around to finish off some work every now and again then turning back around to talk to Sam and Jane. Zylus wondered why hasn't Lewis ever mentioned this editor? Was she even an editor ? Was she a content creator? If so would she let him be in one of her videos? Just the one .

That was when she suddenly glanced away from Jane for a moment, laughing about something that Zylus has no clue about. Their eyes locked in seconds and for just that moment it felt like it was only them two in the room. Zylus standing by the door frame and just staring at her in admiration although he had never seen the woman before then she sat down a fading laugh cascading over her face as she glanced at him but that glance to Zylus was something that felt a lot longer than a few seconds. He was already so far gone it upset him.

She turned away for a moment to say something to Sam and Jane before glancing back over to Zylus for a mere second before being dragged back into the conversation she previously was in.

Zylus couldn't stop himself, he was too far gone although he didn't even know the girl. He felt as if everything suddenly evolved around her as cliche as it sounded but he had no other way of explaining the way he felt.

Sam and Jane suddenly got up to leave , carefully passing past Zylus as he turned away from the female for a moment , bidding good night to his fellow co workers as he tried back around to give her a final glance before calling it a night himself. She was staring back at him.

"I don't think we've formally met before," He voice was calm, welcoming, soothing to the soul as Zylus suddenly went blank, "Is there a reason as to why you've been staring at me since you entered or have you just been blank for like ten minutes?"

Zylus panicked, whatever he would say next would be his first impression for the female and it scared him.

"I think I'm in love with you and it scares the crap out of me," He suddenly blurred out, instantly tensing up as the words left his lips, "Well , uh good night ," He quickly lowered his head as he turned to leave but was suddenly caught of guard .

"Zylus," She knee his name and yet he didn't know hers. Zylus froze completely on the spot, still in the doorframe but now facing away from her as she spoke to him, "My name is (Y/N) by the way, it was a pleasure to finally meet you, hopefully we will meet again sometime soon," His heart fluttered at the thought, his mind going to a million places at once, "Good night Zylus see you soon hopefully"

He looked at her over his shoulder finally, her lips holding a soft smile in which was aimed directly at him, "Good night (Y/N)," He turned back around and slowly made his way to the front entrance with a large grin spread across his face.

Zylus in the end decided that he was gonna get lost inside of Yogtowers again if it meant seeing (Y/N) again, he had to .
