Chapter 1

"(Y/N)! Wake up!"

There was a loud banging on your door. "I'm up," you groaned. You swung your legs over the edge of your bed and stood up. You walked over to your closet and changed into a pair of beige jeans and a green tunic shirt. You quickly slipped on your brown combat boots and ran out of your room. "Amelie is asking for you in the kitchen," a man in the dining hall said as you walked in. You nodded and headed into the kitchen. "Well it's about time," Amelie complained. You stared at her, She was a tall woman with smile wrinkles though you could never understand when she got them; You'd never seen her smile in the 5 years you had lived on the planet. She complained a lot, mostly about you and how you overslept and were late to help her in the kitchen.

"Start breakfast. The others should be waking up. And just so you know, I'm paying you less because you were late... AGAIN," she hollered as she walked out of the door and into the mess hall. You sighed and started to make food for the other 12 people who lived here. You had arrived on the planet after a few incidents occurred where you lived before, though you tried not to remember that. There had been so much heart break and betrayal.

After serving breakfast, you grabbed what little food remained and ate. It wasn't much but it would get you by till lunch. You sighed and headed back to your room, grabbing a small bag and a tan scarf. You put on the scarf and ran outside before Amelie could stop you. You continued to run through the town until you got a ways away from civilization.

You sigh and pull a small silver metal cylinder covered in buttons. Your lightsaber. You hadn't used it in years but with the rumors of the First Order gaining their power back, you had decided that you should join the Resistance. You clicked a button on the hilt and the green lightsaber blade popped out. You moved your arm around getting used to the feeling of it again.
