Chapter 13

Maybe you were wrong. Maybe things could could be like they used to again. Thoughts were flooding through your mind as you laid, wrapped in Kylo's arms. You looked up at him and noticed he was sleeping. "You fell asleep already," you whispered with a chuckle as you kissed his cheek. You looked at the scar across his face and wondered how it got it. You put your head on his chest and closed your eyes, eventually falling asleep.

You woke up the next morning alone, still in Kylo's room. You sat up and yawned, looking around the room. You slowly got out of bed and walked out of the room. You headed down to the mess hall and ate. You had just missed dining with the Stormtroopers so you were all alone in the hall. As you finished eating, Kylo came in, his mask on. "Hello (Y/N)," he said, looking over at you. "I was wondering if you needed an escort to say goodbye to your family." You smiled widely. "I'd like that," you said.

You walked off the ship with Kylo and headed through the village to your house. You said your goodbyes to your brother and father before heading back to the ship. Before you reached the ship Kylo stopped walking and took off his helmet. He looked at you and held his hand out. You slowly took his hand and smiled. "We have a few more minutes to kill before we leave. Let's take a walk," he said with a smile.

You two walked, hand in hand. "This is sort of like the old days," you said with a smile. "Yeah it is," Kylo said quietly. The two of you stopped walking. "So what's the plan when we get back on the ship," you asked. Kylo thought for a moment. "General Hux will probably need me for a few minutes to talk about plans for the next planet we land on," he said before wrapping his arms around your waist. "And then, we can go back to my room and cuddle." You smiled and wrapped your arms around his neck. "Sounds like a plan," you said with a grin. "Good," he responded, kissing you. "Let's get going. We don't want to be late getting back to the ship." You nodded and the two of you headed back to the ship.

This is a bit shorter than usual but the next chapter is just probably gonna be a cute chapter to make up for the lack of relationship so far XD
